MEIKO: My Birthday
November 5th is MEIKO's birthday! The first VOCALOID by Crypton turns 5 this year! What other way to celebrate it than make a post about her ^_^ It just turned November 5th in Japan, so not a lot of videos of MEIKO's birthday (2009) are uploaded to Youtube yet, but one of them is already on there and there are lots more on NicoNicoDouga. There are so many MEIKO songs, so I'll have to be picky and limit the songs to some of my favourite and other people's favourites ^_^
Maybe with this post I might go and pick up "MEIKO My Day" again that I started a few months ago on DC.com ^^;
Next we have a combination of MEIKO and her alter ego Sakine Meiko singing a duet for one of her previous birthdays, "Various Feelings".

Another popular song by MEIKO, along with vocals by Len and Rin Kagamine, is "The Evil Food Eater Conchita". It proved to be quite popular even though it dealt with quite a dark subject matter.

I have to be honest that I didn't like the next song that much when I first heard it. A bit too electronic... but I realize that's part of the charm of Sakine Meiko and enjoyed it after I heard "Honey" a few times. It's thanks to Tenrou, Yamada and Argyle who are so into this song that I got caught up in it too ^_^

And lastly, but not leastly (is that a word?), is my FAVOURITE MEIKO song of all time! I've posted it many times before and you bet I'll post it again... "Nostalogic -Radio Edit-". With a real life MEIKO dancing in it! It's actually Yumiko, a professional dancer who lives in France, but also known to dance to a few other Vocaloid songs.

Love "The Evil Food Eater Conchita". The darker Vocaloid videos are my favorites. ♥ ♥ The other songs are very nice, too! I wish Meiko got more love. (I really really hope they release a regular nendoroid of her. ;___; )
