Ryudos imaging armory
This is my imaging armory right now. Having there:
Nikon D5000
AF-S Nikkor 18-105mm 1:3.5-5.6G ED VR Lens
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01
4 GB Sandisk SD Card x2
512 MB Panasonic SD Card x2
1 GB Panasonic SD Card

The Panasonic FX01 was my first own digital camera which I bought around christmas 2006. I really love this point and shoot cam, never died on me and takes great pictures.
After reading about the D5000 I so fell in love with her that I bought her a few months ago. Still a newbie though.

And this is my tripod. A hama profile 72. My dad bought it while he was active filming but since he no longer takes videos I was given it as a present.
Right now there are some features on my want list for the D5000.
Such as the ML-L3 wireless remote controller and a decent lens for taking good macro pictures.
I don't know what lens to buy so maybe someone with more experience can give me an advice what lens I shall buy?

Sigmas have good Macro lenses for Nikon, somewhere in the 85mm F2.0-2.4
the 35mm f1.8 G DX by nikon takes takes pretty cool macro shots.

Since the d5000 is DX format the 35mm comes out to a 50mm equivalent. Plus the price, its much cheaper than getting a macro lens, its about 200 usd. That is not to say a macro lens isn't a wonderful thing to have, but its a costly piece of glass. Depends on your budget.
d5000 is a great camera imo. The only thing that I dislike about is that all the settings just about are changed via the menu. That aside its just as good as d90 imo.
Now that is a pretty honest and decent setup! Keep it that way, don't bog yourself down with so many lenses
Nice armory. Reminds me that I need to share mine one day ^^
