White by Aoi Nishimata NSFW

Like "Black", "White" also has an eye catching cover with a single English word. At K Books, I wanted to get these two because they had matching names.

Aoi Nishimata is best known as the artist of Naval and of the very popular ero game and anime Shuffle!

She is known in the doujin community simply as Joker Type.

As you can see, Aoi likes to draw in the Moé style. She is one of the firsts artists I became a fan of. In fact, the first doujin I ever bought in Japan was one of Joker Types works.

Like Black, White also has about 95% black and white images with 5% color. The color pages are the individual covers of the smaller works that have been compiled into one thick book.

Was very happy to see that white also featured an alternate take on a popular non-Aoi work. White features Miku Hatsune and Rin while Black featured Touhou.

Aoi really does the vocaloids justice which are moé to begin with. She just adds to it.

Like Black, I tried to give a taste of a little bit of everything that White contains. With the exception of a few pics too intense for this site. ^^;

I think Rin may have come out even better then Miku in Aoi's drawings.

For being taken on a camera, these came out pretty sweet.

That's all for the vocaloid pics. Them came out so beautifully that I could recommend this book for just these pics. Certainly a big selling point of Aio's white book.

Aoi really does a good job at making ero characters. They just look so cute and innocent.

If you've noticed, Joker Type like to put flowers in the background of her drawings. This is for an added touch of innocence I expect.

Looks a bit like Yuki nekomimi.

She kind of looks like that flat chested girl on Shuffle! At least her face and hair do.

She's certainly not flat chested. :p

She's really cute but in order to show her scene I would be pushing it. Don't know what Danny's policy is on pics of self gratification. ^^;

Well, to wrap up my review, I think I like Aoi's White book much better then her Black one. The Hatsune Miku pics are amazing and are the biggest selling point of the book. If you are into ero, then White has something for you while Black was completely safe for work.

That's all for my reviews. ^^; I did also pick up Xeno Emission 2 and 3 as well as a cast off figure but that is for another time. ^^;
