Kanu Unchou resin kit

Posted by aniluke

This is my latest resin kit: Kanu Unchou at 1/7 scale in an attack pose (based on the japanese DVD-cover of the first volume of Dragon destiny). Since there was a lot of curving hair it was rather difficult to put together, but in the end it did work out. I used maily Humbrol and Model Master enamel paints and applied some dry-brushing as well. I really like the details in some of the areas...

She is very well your work, not that glossy finish as you find with some who sell her.
Very professional looking as though Kanu was ready to jump out of this page..
    Bravado!

Actually, I did not do any masking here; just me, a fine brush and some steady but gentle brush movement...

About future Ikki Tousen kits: you'll never know when a nice one comes along.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Even though it wasn't an easy kit, she was fun to construct. I had her on the shelve for sometime, because I underwent surgery on both hands because of carpal tunnel syndrome, so I was not able to do much constructing for a while.
