Kanu Unchou resin kit
Fri 2009/11/06 01:19 JST
This is my latest resin kit: Kanu Unchou at 1/7 scale in an attack pose (based on the japanese DVD-cover of the first volume of Dragon destiny). Since there was a lot of curving hair it was rather difficult to put together, but in the end it did work out. I used maily Humbrol and Model Master enamel paints and applied some dry-brushing as well. I really like the details in some of the areas...

She is very well your work, not that glossy finish as you find with some who sell her.
Very professional looking as though Kanu was ready to jump out of this page..
Bravado!
wow, good very job with the paint... was it worth all the masking? jkjk
are you planning on making any more from Ikki-T?
and seifuku do not explode randomly ahaha
Actually, I did not do any masking here; just me, a fine brush and some steady but gentle brush movement...
About future Ikki Tousen kits: you'll never know when a nice one comes along.
ahah lol no masking FTW
... masking is the bane of my existence
Looks awesome!!!
Woah! She looks great and that manga pose is very cool.
The details are excellent, congratulations for your hard work ^^.
Thanks for the compliments everyone. Even though it wasn't an easy kit, she was fun to construct. I had her on the shelve for sometime, because I underwent surgery on both hands because of carpal tunnel syndrome, so I was not able to do much constructing for a while.
ouch!! I know how you feel man, I had surgery to repair some ligament damage on my right wrist back in early september and I'm only just getting back into full kit building mode!! It feels good when you get back to doing stuff!!
