Hello, Everyone!

Posted by gamegirlkit [www]

Hi, I'd like to introduce myself :) My username is gamegirlkit (obviously). I've been lurking here for a little while but finally decided to sign up. I love figmas and nendoroids, but right now I am saving up for a Dollfie Dream! It's Danny Choo's fault, completely.

I'd also like to introduce my figures. I only have a small collection, but it works since I prefer taking photos over just sitting them around.

So, a tomopopper makes the jump to figure.fm!

You'll do fine here, I'm sure of it. but seriously, what's with all the dollfie love? I still don't get it, tho I never really got into the whole poseable figures like figmas and the like as much as others.
Having said that, if they ever released a dollfie Sheryl Nome, I'd be all over it like a cheap suit!! Was really tempted by dollfie feito tho!

    The man's a bad influence I swear :P

I know what you mean about the Dolfies though... the monetary outlay's been putting me off, but every time I see one of those photo sets my resistance crumbles a little more.

Welcome to figure.fm, like everyone else I love that photo of Louise in her hat, too cute.

As the owner of dollfie dreams and bjd for over 5 years now, I say if you feel like saving up for one, do it. Its the only sure fire way to find out if you like them or not. And if you ever decide it's not for you, then you can always sell it on later as they tend to retain their value. Not that many people go back once they get their first XD

Yep, a Dollfie Dream Yukino will be my next purchase (after my Saber Lily nendo arrives)! My mom said she'd pay for half as a Christmas or birthday gift, depending on when I get a job or how long it takes for me to save. So now I have to be disciplined and save! But from what I've heard and seen, I think it will be worth it.

Also, I like your blog! I just checked it out the other day.

I know what you mean by the dollfie thing.-_-
I used to hate them since I only saw the Super dollfies but I fell in love with the dollfie dreams.

Yeah, I didn't like the Super Dollfies either, still don't, but I had to have a Dollfie Dream when I fist saw one. I think maybe the Super Dollfies are too realistic. Maybe that's just me :)

Wow the hat on Louise is awesome! I'm starting to think of buying stuff for my figures too now. I still can't afford a dollfie, or ever. So I won't even consider it XD

You don't have to spend a lot! I made it myself with a handheld sewing machine for $15 and fabric scraps for $1.80. It's also fun learning to do something new.
