Hina is ready to travel to Japan

Posted by verygreen [www]

Just a few moments after we booked our air tickets to Japan Hina got wind of that and started to prepare.

Mouseover = load notes.
Hina is ready to travel to Japan

She quickly dressed up in her new Furisode kimono.

Mouseover = load notes.
Hina is ready to travel to Japan

How do I look?

Mouseover = load notes.
Hina is ready to travel to Japan

And like this?

Mouseover = load notes.
Hina is ready to travel to Japan

Ok. I am ready. Now let's go!

Mouseover = load notes.
Hina is ready to travel to Japan

I said let's go already! How long do you plan to prepare?

Mouseover = load notes.
Hina is ready to travel to Japan

Why are you so slow? Do you want me to go alone?

Mouseover = load notes.
Hina is ready to travel to Japan

And you know what, I am taking Kun-Kun with me as well!

Sigh, such an impatient girl.

And in fact the tickets are only for the next year so we definitely need to wait with the departure.
Also how can we fly, we still did not get geta for Hina-chan.
(anybody have any ideas where to buy YoSD geta and optional feet for it?)

    Aw, that's adorable. The pictures of her with the giant suitcase make me smile! Also, that kimono is nice. Isn't she a tiny? If she is, that just makes it even more impressive.

      She is a Yo-SD, so she is 11 inch (27.5 cm) tall.

        Ah, so she is a tiny (at least as far as BJDs are concerned). I've heard they're a real pain to sew for because they're so small--at that scale fabrics can start doing weird things. Kudos to whoever made that kimono!

    Cute! And such an eye catching kimono she has.

    Have fun in Japan. Was getting a bit chilly before we left and the tree leaves were just starting to turn fall colors. Have fun!

      Thanks.
      Actually we still need to get our visas first. Hope they would approve the visas even despite the fact that we are not coming through tour agency.
      (hm, I know! Hina-chan must have Japanese citizenship by birth and so she'll sponsor us ;) )

          That only works for some people from "safe" nations. Does not work for us unfortunately.

      BTW, the Furisode is supposed to be eye catching. Designed specifically to attract attention to unmarried girls.

      Yes. They are store bought (the suitcase and kimono were acquired separately). We are nowhere near required level of skill to do anything like that.

    Awww She looks so cute in her Kimono. Sadly I do not know where to get yosd tabi feet. Ive tried all my usual places but they are all out. Her red shoes match the kimono though so she still looks a right darling even if she is without tabi.
