Valho's Imaging Armory - DSLR upgraded
Wasn't too long since I posted my Imaging Amory, which you can see here.
I have since upgraded to a new DSLR, the new Canon EOS 7D that Canon released quite recently, I called her Nana-chan for short ^^.
My previous DSLR, EOS 400D has follow me for slightly more than 2 years, and I feel that it's time for me to upgrade to something better, due to the limitation on the 400D. The 400D is a nice camera but it's still an entry level and I feel that with my current experience/skill a semi pro camera would be a good upgrade. I found the EOS 7D to be a perfect upgrade for me, since it has the function and performance that I am looking for without having to fork out for the more expensive 1D series of camera.
Some key features of the EOS 7D
18MP APS-C CMOS sensor
8 frames per second continuous shooting
1080p HD video recording with manual controls
3.0 inch Clear View II LCD screen with 920,000 dots
19-point AF system (all cross-type)
1.0x magnification and 100% coverage viewfinder
Wireless flash control
Environmental sealing
Now all I need is the Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8 L lens and my gear is complete XD

Wow. So this is your current armory. I remember how you took pic of your figurine. I love how you match the background and decoration with the figurine.
yup new addition to my armory, the other stuff like lenses and flash are still the same. Glad you like the figures shoot, that reminds me I need to shoot some of my backlog figures
Nice, the 7d sure is a charm. Just recently upgraded from Xti... my comrade for well over 3 years.

I would have loved for more focus points, but I am still newbie I think I will stick with my D5k for now~ Congrats on the new gear
Thanks. The increase in focus points does takes some getting use to, but it opens up more option when composing.
