November Loot - Drossel Get!
Haven't done one of these in a while, but since everyone was getting in on the figma Drossel craze, I thought I would too. Although I'm sad that I can't find subbed Fireball episodes past episode 10 or whatever. The re-release was a godsend in this case. Also picked up the rest of the Lucky Star girls in their summer uniforms (I already have Konata), and I'll be using the alternate heads as well on another set of the original winter uniform figma set I got specifically for this purpose.
In terms of hardware, I did a new computer build last week and re-used an old case, hard drives, and optical drive. Went with a Core i7 860, Gigabyte P55M-UD2 mini-ATX mobo, and a Radeon HD 5870 video card. Also stuck 2x2GB sticks of DDR3-1600 RAM in it as well, and slapped Windows 7 on it. I am ready for the DirectX11 era!
Also picked up Tekken 6 for the PS3 and Dragon Age Origins for the PC over the past two weeks. Dragon Age is fun as hell, a really excellent traditional RPG. I needed another 40+ hour game after finishing Fallout 3 and its DLCs a while back.

Its the ATI Radeon 5870, comes with 1GB of DDR5 memory and is DirectX 11 capable.
Very nice. If I hadn't switched to a notebook here recently I probably would have gone to something similar for my old tower.

Nice loot! That Gigabyte micro-Atx P55 board looks sweet. The ATI Radeon 5870 is a real killer, plenty fast and nicely affordable, Ati has been having my vote these past years.

I just wanted DirectX11 for when DiRT2, STALKER Call of Pripyat, and Aliens vs Predator come out, and we have heard nothing from the NVIDIA camp about their upcoming DX11 chips.

The thing is, this isn't even my main machine. Its a new machine thats only hooked up to the HDTV for gaming purposes, so two RAIDed HDDs is enough for now. I'll upgrade my main machine to SSDs in the future, and the Vertex series looks nice, but I would like more than 30GBs.

You should get drossel, The thing to do with her are endless, as you have probably already seen, she is a parent, a wrestler, a jet, a robot, Yuki N. in disguise, Kagamine in disguise, she has eyes that light up and she's very easy to pose, so basicly she's everything in one*
