This is the MG Destiny kit i did over the last month. I still suck at airbrushing tho. Comments on ways to improve deeply appreciated =)

I won't say the paint job is bad.. I've seen worse.

How 'bout spray a layer or two of matte topcoat on this guy, will do wonders.. ;D

I think it looks ok as is, but if you want more jazz added to it, I can suggest a few things.

The shading on the white is great, I like it, but I can't really see the shading on any other color, like the blue for example. You can try using a darker color for the blue.

I would also really recommend dry brushing it. Add some weathering, slight damage, like scrapes and metal scratches and stuff, then top it off with dry brushing. That'd make it look really sexy.

And at least you have an airbrush....I don't even have one :( Might I ask what model you have and how much it costs?

What do you mean? Your paintjob is wonderful! The posing maybe a bit stiff though.

You can paint better than me.
I can only use spray paint >.<

but if you decided to paint it, why not go all out and remove the seams as well.

just got back from taiwan, wow thanks people! so much words of kindness.

Seams, i only use cement, sometimes i screw up and don't have the putty to do it. Still pretty new to doing gunpla so not sure how putty will actually work out..

And regarding shading on blue n red areas, was lazy on those areas so tried to skim on the shading, did only a little bit which my camera didn't do justice too but imo its nowhere near the level of the white parts. Am trying out some new techniques for my next kits for shading on colored parts :D

This is far from noobs work. A lot of people cant do shadowing. I think it looks pretty good ! The only thing that needs work imo is the panel lining on the face.
