When you finished a anime series...

Did you feel happy or sad?

There's tons of anime series that made me feel happy, and some of them made me sad for it to end. Darker then Black was one of them, and so was Soul Eater. I got my second season of Darker than Black (Along with a drunkin' and lolicon Hei. .__. Poor Suou.) and I'm currently up to date with the Soul Eater manga. (Which is epic. Jailbait!Kid FTW! x3)

Another series that made me sad was Cowboy Bebop, and it seems I wasn't the only one. (Thank god.) I was also sad to see Ouran end, but... WHERE'S MY SECOND SEASON BONES?! ;3;

(Ugh, I'm a total BONES fangirl it seems. xD)

I'm thinkin' about making this into a series. Like, manga next, and then video games. Whaddya think, guys?

(Sorry, no Maka in a swimsuit guys! xD)

    well i just finished kenshin not long ago and i felt crap after the last episode as it didnt end as well as i thought it would. but being a long series its sorta a good thing coz its like an achievement to watch the whole series. that means you can move onto another :)

    Yeah. Some anime just make u feel like crap, because the experience was suckish, or the ending just ruins the whole series. Some anime made me feel sad and happy at the same time, like Canaan. Watch Canaan and you'll know what i mean, hopefully.

      a better example, eureka 7 which of course finished differently to the manga, but on a positive note at the least

      the manga however was a bit darker with more deaths

      I wholeheartedly agree with the statement of Canaan. It made me sad, but it also made me happy and left me with a feeling of hope. It was a fantastic ending, I thought.

    It depends on the ending for me, Clannad left me feeling sad but happy, like Kanon or nanoha . But with some animes like Black cat, Yami to Boushi, Samurai girl or Venus vs Virus, I was just totally disappointed. They really rushed the ending for me, Which didn't leave me in a good feeling at all. With Air it was so sad you couldn't even feel proud for finishing the whole series. Some you just watched had a excellent ending, but wished there was more to it like Death note, Gurren Lagann, Ouran, or Ruroni Kenshin. With Haruhi second season it was disappointing but at least there's a movie ^^ I'd have to say the best feeling I got from watching the whole series was defiantly Kagihime, both manga & anime. It was just excellent, It was sad, but, well it's hard to explain, it kinda gave you hope for things that may happen in the future. Ahaha I remember it actually made me cry :)

    For me it depends how it ends, and how they led up to the end.

    The end of a good series still usually make me sad. Because its over now and I don't get to see any more of the characters that I've come to love :(

    I'm also especially sad if the ending is a sad one, and also if I know for sure that theres not gonna be a sequal :(

    Indeed, it is really sad when an Anime series ends. To me, an Anime series is like a window to the world where the character's live and interact. When the series ends, the window closes and it feels like you'll never see them again. (TT.TT)

    I'm always upset when a series ends, no exceptions. This applies to books I read too. I just can't accept and ending and sometimes prolong watching it just so it won't happen >.<

    Yeah, I hate it when I reach the end of a series that I am really into. Examples of this, Haruhi, Lucky Star, Evangelion, Inuyasha, etc. However, I have come across a couple of endings, like others have said, that just ruin the series. For instance, Samurai 7's ending made me so upset >_< I However, I am also happy to reach an ending to an anime that I really enjoy because I can refer it to my friends, rewatch the series, and move on to other really good animes out there ^_^ Actar, I totally understand the feeling of not seeing your favorite characters again ^^

    I feel sad when most of series i particularly liked ended. But many may not agree with me here, but Manabi Straight, My favourite anime of all time was the one i was most upset about.
