Tower of plamo and O box of runners
I am sure many plamo builder will have towers of unbuild gundam or other kits laying around his or her room just like me.
Not to mention other things like figures etc.

These boxes take up space in the room and also collect dust. As time goes, it just gets more and more boxes and less and less space in the room. So I made a decison to fix up these plamo kits and rid the boxes, trying not to come up with excuses to not do nothing.

Was really lazy at times, but managed to keep it up. so far I have cleared 15 boxes and I left another 5 boxes to do. Oh Man.....day after day after using the cutter, my fingers really hurts. Its like holding a pen and writing for a few hours nonstop.

Took me about 3 weeks plus and few hours of my sleep each day to finish what you see here. Pretty much a straight assembly as you see. Going to flatten the boxes to keep and throw the runners into the plastic recycle bin for recycling.

What are they kneeling for ???
Quick Question: do you paint and detail your kits?
No, I don't paint them anymore. I used to paint the SD kits before when I was in my teen days. The paints then were much cheaper and frens complete with each other. That was the fun then. Now non of my frens paint or built kits anymore. Some of the kits I keep in my cupboard for more than 5 years and hard to find now.
I usually keep the leftover runners inside the box it came from. Right now, I have a MG Freedom, MG FAZZ, MG Force Impulse and a PG Strike that need to be built. In fact, theyre still shrink wrapped haha. I prolly wont be able to start working on them till Winter break here :[
As for the boxes, Ill keep them as they are. I dont want to flatten them haha.
Those are big boxes there....it will take even longer if you paint them as well.
Out of the 5 that I still need to do, 2 are 1/100 kits and with lots of parts T.T
Each model takes about a week since I scrape off nubs, sand, top coat, and panel line (at he very least). If I do a custom color scheme, It takes about a week and half. What models are you working on ?
One MGs and one armorcore. The MG is still manageable but the armorcore....T_T
only have 1 (FG KYRIOS never plan to build) unassembled gundam I always buy the new one after finnish !!! ^_^
Nice Gundam Army. I suggest the MG Freedom gundam, it's sitting on my shelf and it's preatty nice.
Me ? I already have an MG Freedom assembled on my self. The second one is for a custom color scheme :] But I agree with you. MG Freedom is one of my favorite models !
I had a HG one built many moons ago....gave it to my nephew to play T.T
Might get the lighting edition one if I come across a good deal
Are you talking about Strike Freedom ? I was talking about Freedom. But Lightning edition Strike Freedom looks pretty good. Havent been able to find those very often.
wow you have gundam geminass and aesculapius they are rare right now !!
Yes, they are hard to find now.
Those popular old ones you can't even find them now.
.. have over 10 in the closet... most will never touch for a long time, others i 'm working on.. alot of older seed kits, just no interest in them right now, even scraped some for spare parts... mostly 1.144 so no biggy. have a 1/60 freedom gundam sitting in the closet not built, well put together but not finished... sad really... big spares box of various do dads...
Nice! You also got the aesculapius gundam!
Sadly, the hydra gundam is out of stock....
Yes, I still have the runners inside the box and is arranged by how it was when I first opened it.. Even the manual/sticker sheet are still there.
whoa!! full HG gunpla eh...i see a XN raiser & what the "GN sefer"?? i never hear of that but..i fix/arraged some box too in some size & the manuals (Hg & MG).
XN raiser and GN sefer are hobby japan and dengeki hobby magazine free premium.
That's a lot of kits you've got there. Looks like about close to half of what I have left to build. Mwahaha!!! Nice collection by the way.
at least you make them... I think I have about the same number kits you have, and STILL have not gone to make them...
take time off to do, so that you will have space for more !!!! haha
erm... Let's see... Two PGs, a two MGs, and a non grade. I also have two half way through paint, one waiting a bit of inspiration and a few that need to be lined and coated. Not to mention a ton from my high school days in need of a makeover.
WOW.....two PGs, the box is so huge.....
You're such a marathon "runner" XD
Oh and hey, I have that Sefer too! But it's not built yet of course... Got a few I haven't done yet. My MG GP02A is still not done yet, in the middle of building it >_< Still got Unicorn and Force Impulse and many others waiting in the wings.
Are all your kits MGs.....if yes they do take up quite a chunk in your room.
I've got a nice healthy build queue myself. Though I do make it a point to at least build 1 kit every month now since I also do paint if not just sand them and detail them. I also keep the boxes.
I wall have a wall...ish...of gunpla boxes, won't move them because I've no other place to keep extra runners...
well model kit i bought, model kit i finish before buying another one D=
For the poll, shouldn't the 2nd option be 5 to 7, and 3rd option is 8 to 10? If not if I have 3 can also be categorized under 10 or less. ^^;
That aside, I have tons of Gunpla leftover so mine is more than 10. Right now, they are Wall of China, soon they'll be become skyscrapers. ^^
haha....like the skyscrapers word. ^_^
i got 1 mg sword impulse, 2 sinanjus, gn-X III alaws HG, MG Gundam OYW, and an upcoming astray PG
I have a "valley" instead, the bulk of the unbuilt kits fill up the gap between my bed and the bookshelf of manga and gunpla.
Rather unheathy I suppose, thinking about how much money is spent and stuff.
Everything Assembled, my Record was 37 minutes for Arios Gundam >_>
That is really fast, wait....is that the First Grade Arios you refering to ???
Took me 3 to 4 hrs to built the double O kits as they use different poly caps and joint design.
omg, i only buy them 1 at a time! though i do a lot of detail work.
mind giving some of your hguc's?
Lol, I have 108 kits to build in my pile at the moment. Just finished my RG Zaku II.I have 210 built kits. Gotta love the gunpla.
Nice collection.
