like any kit that have high compability to each other, they always leave a hint, or at least "something" that shouldn't be there in the 1st place, but its there anyway, and astray MG is one of the best example :D
so... what will you expect to get from the line of astray MG's :D
my money says 25% chance that this kit will be made somewhere in 2010 :D
as usual, not all version will be made exactly like the image

where is it? show it more clearly? im not good at such thing, but if a MG astray gold come out, that would be real cool, with all the golden part. but i guess the chance is quite low as the 1/100 version is adi very awesome

The slot is there, its only when the time is ripe or is the time still right (otherwise scrap the plan).

but agreed.. as many as astray variants, I just want gold frame to has a MG release..
Bandai just rib out our money by released multiple kit that slot maybe for next released of astray variant >_<
Instead of bandai making more shenanigans to milk our wallets, why won't they manufacture some gundams in the manga like the plutone gundam, grm gundam, nadleeh akwos, and lots more than sticking to re-manufacturing because this is just so plain repititive and irritating...making an MG for gold frame might be a good idea but they have been doing so much repition...
Then again, the extra fatures/slots can mean absolutely nothing! Like how bandai made an elaborate snap-in mechanism for the shoulders of the PG strike gundam which made everyone believe that the striker packs would be coming along. Years later and all we still have is the Aile, which doesn't even add anything to the shoulders!!
They're gonna release the gang of astray MG variants, just like the Strike, Strike IWSP, Strike Noir, Strike Rouge, Strike E+IWSP, Strike with launcher & sword pack, Strike wit the bazooka thing... Good thing they only made two Impulese so far.. and I'm hoping that stays that way.-_-
MG Gold Frame Amatsu is the only kit I want to see made from the Astrays apart from the now released blue frame. If I wanted a Red I'd save up and get the PG, and the Green, Mirage, and Pink are of no interest to me.
I don't recommend you getting the PG Red tho...
The reason they put the shoulder 'hard-points' on the PG strike is so that if they wanted to make a PG launcher and sword pack, they wouldn't have to include a new set of shoulder units (they put the same holes in the PG sky grasper FYI). The same goes for this astray; if they want to make variations in the future, then they could, and not have to modify the runners a bit.
