Mirai Wallpaper

Posted by dans [www]

I am not good at drawing fanart. But as a Mirai fan, I wanted to make something for her. Here's my Mirai wallpaper. Been a while since I made wallpaper, so I decided to go for a simple design.

The orange one is very nice, excellent work. I need a wallpaper to replace my current one for the Christmas season.

Interesting website, but I didn't follow any tutorial. If you looked closely, I only use floral brush and standard brush. Tutorial 9 tutorial use few different brushes, even the floral brush is different. The rose and leaves are also different. Tutorial 9 uses stock photos, I use Illustrator. The only stock photo I use is for the background (and the stock photo is also different).

I would say that with that tutorial, you can accomplish similar effect. But the method I used is different.

Wait, aren't you using the some of the same bushes? I see a small section of it being the same brush set in the last two Wall papers.

I noticed that too. I often download a collection of brushes or fonts which are collected by my friends or people in the internet. So it could be that part of my floral brushes really came from the same source.

Actually, I was really surprised to see the tutorial. I could say that his method is much better and faster than mine actually. The website also has a collection of good tutorial. So it is a good thing to be able to find the website. Thank you !

Your work looks better than the tutorial for sure. O_o
Maybe its cos' you worked on it differently (more professional like) that gave it a better outcome.

Taking a easy path normally doesn't turn out too well ^^; For me at least.
