I'm really scared for Eva 2.0, I mean it looks awesome and everything, but I heard they cut Asuka out of it. And what's with the name change? But I do love how Eva is going they have modernized it in all the right ways and made it more action oriented. I think it makes it more exciting. But I want more Asuka! Not less! I don't trust this new chick yet.
Err by cut out of it I meant they don't give her as much screen time. I know she is in the movie.
The cut screentime is due to something that will happen in 2.0.
Not spoiling it :p
But judging from the 3.0 trailers, she makes a glorious return and honors her new Captain rank. No idea why she got a name change though.
