Eden of the East NEC Keitai

There was an earlier posting about this during the summer where NEC has supposedly created a working replica of the phone and is planning to release it. Has anyone heard of any news surrounding this topic? I know that the EVA phone has gotten lots of attention around the time this phone (Eden) was released.

Noblesse Oblige phone was still just a prototype at that time... do not expect it to come out anytime soon as they are also competing with Docomo's New Multi-purpose handphone (also prototype)... By the way eventhough its released the phone would have limited function to users outside Japan... but still I'm also getting the phone... LOL
I would get it as well regardless of the limited functionality in other countries
does that mean that only japanese' gets 10bil yen? : D

agreed to all comments, this phone is so awsome, its just awsome to have even if its just a paperweight.
But really if we could use the functions.... it would probably be equal or even more powerful than iphone.... though i think no customizing or modifications available though which might lose to iphone in the end?
Haven't seen any news about it up till now. I don't think they even have a product info page over at Docomo's site unlike the Eva phone.

saw in another Japan page it have a red one also, mention the circle screen will feature compass with GPS navigation. (as usual with all other Japan phone this must be use with their services....) As long as I can make my usual phone features (Call,SMS, Photo and some minor multimedia) is good enough for me. As this phone is sure a head turner compare to iPhone which everyones holds it nowadays.
I so want! even if it were just a replica i'd still want one.
