Master Assassin Ezio (White Edition)
I bought the Collectors Edition of Assassin's Creed 2 from Gamestop this week which came with a 8.5 inch tall figure of main character Ezio. Apparently this is one of two different Ezio figures. The US got this white version of Ezio, while other countries had the option of purchasing a white or black version as seen in post by koganinjastyle. The black version, besides being black, has extra armor plates, and a sword.

This is a really well made and detailed figure considering it only cost 20.00.

I like how they took the time to add all the little wrinkles in the shoulder cape to make it look like actual leather.

Well, that's just Enzio ^^ ...
The one included in the Black Box is the one and only "Master Assassin Ezio". Furthermore the Black Box has a super nice leather wrapped artbook, a soundtrack and 3 extra missions (Palazzo Medici in Florenz, Santa Maria Dei Frari in Venedig and Arsenale in Venedig). And the box is of better quality... Not to mention that only the black box is really limited ^^;
But the white box is cool too and I'm thinking of getting it on top of my Black Box as it would be nice to have a complete Assassins Creed Collection (together with my limited edition AC1) ^^

Did you buy yours within Germany though, and is it censored? Because I would hate to have a neutered version of the actual game, cool Black Edition extras notwithstanding. I want my blood and vicious kills.

It's uncencored... One version worldwide as for violence. And the German Version has english audio/texts too!

That's surprising, considering L4D2 is seeing heavy censoring in Germany and Australia, and I think the subject matter in Assassin's Creed 2 about murdering for vengeance and money and stabbing unsuspecting people in the back and throats with a hidden blade is a lot more mature and disturbing than slaughtering hordes of mindless zombies.

Well that's not how they rate... to be more exact it didn't even get a mature rating here but 16+ ^^; So for teens. They are more interested in what you get rewarded for. You can avoid killing people most of the time in AC2, so it's not so bad. If you would have to kill ALL people and if you would get points for doing so, it would be rated as a mature game or would get censored. But if you get punished for killing (innocent) people it's okay here ^^

It's nice to see that the regular version is of similar quality to the Master Assassin version. Especially considering the relative rarity of the Black Edition, it's good that anyone who pays extra for one of the collector's editions will find a great figure in the box, regardless of which one it is.

(Grumbles) Bad enough that I find I can't play Modern Warfare 2 on my laptop, and now THIS...I haven;'t even finished Assassin's Creed 1 yet, and this is tempting me. The final nail in my coffin will be when Splinter Cell:Conviction comes out. And if that comes with a special figure of Sam Fisher, I will SCREAM...
