He appeared for today's AAC and gave us a very entertaining speech about engaging the consumer. One of the methods he mentioned is the Mirai Gaia, a platform which I find very flexible and powerful.

Then he said to embrace the social media, like twitter, FB, and Flicker. I find his advise very true and feasible. Of cos, during the AAC, I have also learned many new things and insights.

Did you know, that China is a very big consumer of Anime content? And Astro Boy(the movie) did quite well there compared to the US and Japan.

I personally used both Twitter and FB to promote my club's site... And also listing it in Otaku.fm.

So what do you used?

What did you used most to promote your content?

I didn't know Singapore took such a big slice of the view pie... for a small country(pop 4million) of ours, we got 5% on crunchyroll and 7% in dannychoo.com or isit the other way around... It's quite an achievement...

    Wish I was there, really wanna know what Danny has to say about engaging the consumer (I'm currently at a university taking Management of Info. Tech. and will graduate next semester, so I think learning Danny's techniques would improve my business interaction skills).

      basically, show people what you do, listen to what they say about what you do, make some changes, let the public see tha changes and listen to what they say, and so on and so on . . . have created a hand-carved wood doll and used Danny's CGM concept for development, sold the first figure today!! LOL :D

    I know this is random, but how tall is Danny? He seems to tower over normal Japanese people.

      He's neither tall nor is he short from what I saw. He seems to be my height, but then again, I'm taller than the average asian. ^_^;
