The frame is dusty as hell, you should clean that..
Gotta give you props for doing the small details, the paint job looks kind of rough though xD

haha thanks.
Don't know if its dusty or just the spray paint i'm using(Local hardware store lacquer spraypaint haha) but its been sitting on my desk for quite some time so might be the dust XD

seems it wasnt dust on the frame but thick ash dust on the lens :T

Watch out for that paint, it seems to be something like Gunmetal, but not quite. It can get sort of distracting, hence why it looks a bit like its dusty.
Out of curiosity, do you have problems with the leg joint? My RX-178's legs seem to be REALLY loose.

yeah the paints called cast iron,,, in real life its really awesome with an undercoat of black. its just got lots of metal shiny bits in it so when it gets photographed becomes like this :/
darn need the sky to clear up soon so can get some natural light pics >.<
I'm not really sure, my legs have so many coats of paint that it actually couldn't move at all haha but I've read that some gunpla batches have bad joint molds. Luck of the draw when buying them I guess.
Here's a good post : http://www.figure.fm/post/en/3852/Loose+joints+Repost.html
I added some tamiya putty (in very very very thin layers) to my sister's gundams hip joints so stop it from flopping around :D
About that......
i know my mkII leg joints are a bit loose. i just put a bit of cement and move it around for a good minute or 2 before it dries up
