Name a company :3
Hi guys! Yep that's right I'm following in our Otaku leader's footsteps and created my own company. Right now its called Battle Perception Ink. (Yes the Ink is a joke ) The name at the moment is because my company recently merged with another company that does computer stuff's and the such.
Any who, my company was originally named Top Perception Art, and the other company was Battle Corp. I personally don't like the name we now have so I have been given the go ahead and started posting on my blog for name suggestions, but seeing how no one reads that ( :3 ) I was wondering what the people of figure.fm had in mind for a company name. The names you submit will all be put on a really long sheet of paper, and the one the company likes the best will be used! Sadly we cant really offer anything other than the fact that you named a company as a prize right now... But I hope you all have good idea's and are willing to share them! :D
The company will be creating and doing all the things below.
Creating Manga
Creating Anime
Creating Lit. Books
Putting out art etc.
Creating Computer programs such as games and app's
What name would you put if you had a company like this?
When I was in school I always wanted to publish my own novels and instead of listening to teachers lecture about... whatever, I would doodle in my note book and come up with logos and company names. Go figure when I graduated High School, I just had to go off and join the military, but five years later, that is all done and good, and I can start where I left off. Most of my company names were kind meant for laughs.
I remember I had:
So Is Your Face Productions (The Logo for this one was kind of like a classic jack o' lantern face)

Blue Skull Inc (The logo for this was actually just a scribble of a face I did that sort of resembled a skull, then i had colored it in blue out of boredom)
And my more professional name was:
Landers Office Publishing (Landers being my last name, I kind of took this name from Office Kitano which I believe is the name of Takeshi Kitano's production team if I remember properly)
But yeah, that's all I got.
I would produce stuffs for tha internets (comikka, game, app) and call it Virtual Ink, cos these things is online. :P
hey, could even be Virtua Link, VL is tha logo . . hmmmmm.
"Henshin Productions" if correct it means "to change or transform the body", not sure how it could relate to you works but is sounds nice. *shrug* I'll post more once I think of them, this is just what I've thought of so far.

Seriously, sometimes you don't look for a name that sums you up, but one that gets people to stop, stare, and wonder: "Who are these guys?" In the Philippines, the company Sansio used exactly that kind of advertising back in the 80's to grab attention (Essentially a series of advertisements called "OISNAS"--Sansio spelled backward--with comedian Jimmy Fabregas dressed in a Nazi SS uniform and recorded speakign backwards. No merchandise, hints, or anything. Just a lot of ads that got people wondering "WTF is this?")
"Sale" --> No one will remember this.
"PRE-Fire Sale" --> No one will forget this.

i believe ota-corp belongs to the fine folks that run otakon. could be wrong about that though.
My picks: Can put Inc. Co. or which ever desired after the name. I personally think the "perception" part of your names are good too.
1) Delusional Reality - personal favorite - reason = manga, games, anime are part of a person's imagination(delusion being the severe case) being brought to reality in more tangible forms n such. It also makes a good slogan too ex. Can you tell Reality from Delusion? but it seems companies tend to shy away from using their names in their slogan even though there is no official rules saying you cant.

Depth Perception Inc, Mystic Eyes of Depth perception Inc, Mystic Eyes of Death Perception Inc, Unlimited Perception Inc, Everlasting Perception Inc, Eternal Perception Inc. Note remove the 'inc' for some of them if you want. Might sound better. Hope this helps.
