Anime College Dorm Rooms
Since entering college, I noticed that a lot of our interests and hobbies carry over where ever we go. In this case, our college dorm rooms become completely personalized by ourselves with posters, manga, posters, even dakimakura!
Here's a look at anime fans' college dorm rooms today!
These pictures come from my friends' dorm walls. They're the reason for some raised eyebrows from other residents who come to visit, but it makes me feel right at home.

A Kud-chan dakimakura that has been on my friend's dorm wall for the first 3 months this semester before the tape gave out.
The awesomeness doesn't stop there.
Here we are in the dining commons of our college, where the staff(who are also students) like to randomly tune into the Cartoon Network channel, where we can enjoy Pokemon alongside our dinner.
(Food ain't that bad there either!)
A picture of one side of my dorm room, where a Horo and Shana poster/flyer from the college's anime club adorn one wall. The anime club offered on my campus is kind of okay. It lacks the overall community aspect of a club, since just showing anime on a big screen really isn't enough.

I have some anime posters in my dorm room, as well as a small portion of my figure collection. I would have more stuff, but there's one problem: my room mate isn't an otaku! She doesn't mind me having some of my fan stuff out in our room, but I don't want to take advantage of her kindness ^^;
I'm hoping my otaku friend from back home will be joining me at my school next year, so we can totally anime-fy our dorm room!

Nice to see another MTG player, haven't bought any Zendikar yet. I am currently playing Esper Artifacts with the beefy sphinxes and such. I'm having a LAN party too next wednesday after school with my friends for the thanksgiving break, Protoss is my fave.

College for me starts in this Jan. But I wont be staying in the dorms. Governments paying my way. They have to keep up with their end of the deal! But I will certainly have plenty of otaku decor around my apartment!

Meh. College dorms suck in general (they're usually old buildings, and you don't get too much space, but they're affordable). The only good thing about them is that they're on campus so you're close to your classes (and to some, that can even be a bad thing. :D)
First things, first. Lay out ground rules with your dormy. Mine was "Don't touch my stuff, and don't bother me when I'm studying." Surprisingly enough, he was gonna say the same thing, so we agreed on each other's terms, and we've been good friends ever since. :D
Of course, I'm in figures and anime, while he's not. No posters on my wall, but plenty of anime on my computer, and my sexeh figures. :D (Roommate's friend keeps on starring at them, and I lol every time.)
