AFA09: Day 01

Reaching the site at about an hour before the actual opening, already saw a lot of people camp at the entrance... Luckily comrade zh3us and others are amongst the earliest camper around, thus allowing me to join their ranks as the one close to the door... ^_~

Was approached by Singapore's TV Station MediaCorp for an interview... But I think I've screwed it up due to my inability to stay calm when giving my comments over this event... ^^;

Headed directly towards Cospa booth to grab a black Miracle Mirai 3-Nin Musume T-Shirt immediately after the gate opens... Then it's Danny's place for a glimpse of all the FigNendo goodness set up by GSC... :D

Bandai had the largest area for display at the site... More Gunpla temptations...

Had the honour to meet the trooper who can't seem to find his droids... Attend his talk on his love for cars and daughters as well... XD

With any opportunities present, the DC group I'm attached to will scurry to had their Nendo and Figma photographed... ^^;

Met comrade Arayden's lovely daughters... :D They're HUGEEE!!!

Cannot cover the cosplayers today due to me cam running out of juice fast... ^^; Did met an old, old comrade from a forum years ago tho... Such lovely lady she is now... ^_~ She kidnapped my Chibily!!! XD

Attend the Regional Cosplay Competition as well... Singapore's 00-Emotion team won both the Innovated Costumes prize as well as the Grand Prize to Japan, eventho the Gundam they cosplays (00-Raiser...) had a major shoulder armour dislocation during performance... 0_0

Ended the nite by attending the concert at the ticket-free public viewing area after queuing up for a couple of hours, listening to the lovely singing voices of Shoko-tan, Hatsune Miku and finally Mecha Anisong legend Aniki~! I love his 80's style Anisongs!!! A little disappointed over Miku's part tho as they only had 3 of her music video shown...

The nice acquisitions of the day... Had exchanged some Meishi with other comrades, grabbed the TFS postcard from Danny's booth and the Cospa T I mentioned earlier... Due to a certain comrade's influence, I'm gonna grab a Nendo Riannon the first thing I reached the site for a second serving tomorrow... XD

Need enough rest to heal my aching heels for tomorrow's battle~! ^_^
