First Dollfie Daughter
I just got my first Dollfie Daughter, DD Sasara Kusugawa! She is divine! ^__^ She has a lot of 1/6 friends and two sisters, but her sisters are only floating heads, so I'm counting her as my first daughter.
Glorious doll-shaped box! Please pardon crappy flash pictures, it was really dark out today... I really should have picked a different spot to do this. >_<

Standing her up against the wall. I'm not sure I like the Dynamite body, I might sell it and get her a DDII instead.
With temp wig (too high on her forehead >_<"). Sasara is protecting her modesty here but she missed a spot ^^;
At this point I remembered I had a shirt to put her in lol. The red hair really clashes with the pink... :< I have to make Sasara a proper blonde wig and ribbon soon!
Her fullset, minus the wig, which wasn't included in the sale. I don't dare put her outfit on her till I make something to go underneath... darn it Volks, would it have been that hard to line it? T_T

She's like a dream come true, I still can hardly believe she's here! But at that price, I won't be getting her sisters' bodies anytime soon. T_T I can't wait to make stuff for her! Thanks for looking! ^_^

Thanks! The boobs really do look weird nude, they're meant to give push-up bra effect for when she's clothed. I want to at least get her a different bust... but after this big purchase, maybe not for a while T_T

Thank you! I think she looks good in it too! But I personally don't like the look of bright red hair, it doesn't look as good with as many outfits as blonde, for one thing.

Ahhh Sasara is so beautiful! And I love your nails! Did you paint them?
She really is! And thank you about my nails! XD No they're not painted, I just let them do their own thing. My nails are evidently made of steel or something, this is pretty short for them, they can get much longer and never break! :0

The body stocking is your friend....the body stocking is your friend....$20 at Volks USA for one.
You might actually want to consider visiting eBay and finding a vendor named BeachGirlNikita...she makes full-on unitards for SD (which Dollfie Dream is same size) and MSD (MDD) as well as for smaller and larger dolls. The Volks body stocking is armless. Nice when there's no need to protect the arms, but not so nice when you want to put something on that requires protection for the arms. Beach Girl Nikita's unitards are wrist to toe protection. I have one that's made of a lacy nude-colored fabric that is a great compliment to the standard DD skin tone. It provides the kind of protection that makes me finally feel secure enough to let Yumiko-tan's perkygoth side come out.
My Obitsu genderbender boy is getting a custom unitard from her made to look like he's wearing a long sleeved t-shirt. And then he can wear those nice dark clothes that I've been afraid to put him in.
Thanks for the advice! I will get her a body stocking as soon as the DDdy version comes onto the Volks USA site. A wrist to toe body stocking sounds marvelous, but I checked out BeachGirlNikita and I didn't see body stockings, what does she call them?

Finally! a topless version of Sasara, its been bugging me for ages if her chest is molded that way or if it was being pushed together by the clothes. Thanks for finally clearing that up for me, If I decide to buy this one Id definitely make sure Id get a secondary torso.
