after cutting the slopes, it's pretty obvios the first time is on the right, which is very fail

replacing the broken part

cut out of the center hard foam support, one of the ideas my dad gave me

Mouseover = load notes.

however, it epic failed cuz the fulcrum point is way too small

so my dad found another piece of some ultra hard paper-ish thing, that's very hard to cut. ..

Mouseover = load notes.

and ended up hurting myself again. a piece of the cutter embedded into my thumbnail

Mouseover = load notes.
cosplay prop making process

and the worse part is another deep cut on my little finger. blood is dripping down pretty fast

Mouseover = load notes.
cosplay prop making process

rushed to the toilet to fix it up

Mouseover = load notes.
cosplay prop making process

dripping the blood into the toilet bowl while waiting for the blood flow to stop

now i know blood stains are pretty hard to clean away. there's also this blood small lingering in the air. thankfully i clean up everything just before my neighbour comes out

that brown piece is the super hard paper thing. these 3 pieces are going to make up the central hilt

    I think you should be more considerate when posting bloody pictures. Lots of people are very sensitive to things like that and it can be pretty distressing to see. I found these pictures really uncomfortable, I couldn't bare to finish looking at the set.

    Bloody photos are really unnecessary. They're disturbing to some people. Please think before you upload those images. I suggest you removing those images BTW.

      Yeah, please no bloody pics. I have a weird aversion to blood. Main reason I didn't go to med school, couldn't get over that fear, try explaining that to some disappointed parents, lol.

      Well, I guess for me it is necessary. It only shows how much difficulty cosplay and prop makers go thru and it aint no joke.

    Wow didn't expect guro when I clicked this XD

    The sword looks good though. I want to make a sword prop too, but not quite sure where to get materials like these in my area.

    lol, knives are bad for people, and too bad you didn't have my skin, otherwise the knives wouldn't cut you and they'd just bounce off. BTW, you use Stryofoam? Maybe I should use that for my props instead of doing welding and using some dangerous tools.
