Mim's Room
Finally got round to taking a few pics of a corner of my room and thought I should share the love.
I'll be doing some re-decorating soon and am kinda tossing around the idea of opening all my Nendo's, but then saw the Nendo army post and though hmm perhaps not for now. Theres around 35 Nendo's on my shelf and another 15 or so coming from various suppliers from e-bay to a few Japan based exporters.
I've only really started collecting figures in the last 6 months or so and focused primarily on DvD's over the years. I reached around 2000+ retail Anime DvD's.

Yoko Revoltech, one of my fav action figures

Alter Witchblade Masane. My Fav Pvc for now ^^

Here is an additional shot of some of my really old figures. Sorry the shot is a little grainy I should try and take some better shots later some time. I rather like the Manga Spawn on the far right. Its a large action figure with some basic articulation from the land of yesterday (read a very long time ago).

wow thats alot of dvds ... T___T
Really nice. Neat and tidy, the way I like it...though the same cannot be said about my room atm. ^^;;
Agreed. Tis very clean! Very well stacked and everything ^_^
What an impressive collection of Nendoroid ^.^
Impressive collection!
I wish I had that many nendos.
man!that are one cool room!
I'm very happy to see that some otaku have neat and tidy rooms like myself! Your nendoroid army is quite impressive! Lovely room.
The one thing that does make me curious is the fact that most people have much larger DVD collections than manga collections.
Can you take some pictures of your anime/manga collection too? ^^;
I thank you all very kindly for your responses ^^
I'm hoping to do a little re-decorating of my room and add some really nice Transformer posters that I've held onto for nearly 10 years. Might also shuffle out my white shelf on the right and replace it with some glass display's for my figures.
I'm kind of in two minds over opening my Nendo's, on one hand some were quite expensive, but on the other I really want to play with them >.<;
As for manga I honestly don't have any as yet, but will be getting some little by little as a great aid for my Japanese studies.
Wow 2000+ retail Anime DVD's? That is impressive. Great Nendoroid collection. I love how you stacked them up. Looks very neat. ^^
Not only is your collection impressive but I'm most impressed with how well you organized everything. If it were me, there would be boxes everywhere.
WOAH!! So many nenodoroid... I dont even have one.. LOL
thats an amazing room. i wish my room was that tidy. insane amount of nendoriods you have too.. just wow.
Like others have been saying, I have to say how tidy the room is. Thumbs up to being tidy!! ^^
Hey! You're late because your room should've been into Otacool 2009!
Impressive corner's room, with so many anime dvd and so many nendoroids as well, there're Shana, Melissa and Rin too.
I do also have that Alter's Witchblade Masane, a great complete model and one of my favorites too.
As many others comrades said, very tidy and well stacked, congratulations Mim! ^^
Its more like an archive than a room. I wish my room could be that neat all the time.
a real collector never open from the box ^_^
A nicely organised room, I like that. It's always nice to see people actually buying anime as well - it seems like a lot of people who've posted their room are content with just downloading.
I could tell you were Australian from the coloured rating squares on the sides of the DVDs, haha.
Yes most of the DvD's are from www.madman.com.au. At one stage I owned 95% of their Anime catalogue >.<
Nice collection you've got there.
Wow, was that mecha spawn I just saw? You have a nice collection in your room!
Tremendous collection. Have you ripped the DVDs to your PC yet to make a media library?
Very nice collection and well organized to boot!
For starting from the past 6 months, that's pretty insane, it looks great!
I bought my first Nendo in July 09. All the Nendo's are legit and off E-bay along with the Alter Masane PvC and the Yoko Revoltech. The other figures are prior to that.
I do watch subs a lot (got around 3tb worth), but also support the industry by buying many of the shows I feel are worthy of my money.
Holy smokes ! Thats one impressive collection !
That's a lot of DVD and nice collection of nendoroids.
The boxes are stacked nicely, but I think you should find a storage place for 'em...
My cupboard behind me is actually full with a large collection of mint Starwars figures and vehicals that I'm looking to E-bay off soon for more space XD
That and having my Nendo collection neatly in sight along with my DvD collection brings a smile to my face whenever I see it. It also kinda stuns the average visitor, that has never seen something like it in the past, when they walk in.
it looks like nendoroid Museum.... hahahaha =D
nice bro... ^o^b
Dig that Soundwave statue. It plays real tapes doesn't it???
Ke
www.otakuwire.net
Nope its just a resin statue / bust. Damn fine one at that too -.^
I remember wanting that Manga Spawn so long time ago. Never found it till just recently. But by that time I didn't care about it anymore. I have some of those EVAs still in the packaging. And my Rei stopped standing up straight.
Woah, those are really nice boxes!
How on earth are you able to buy all those stuff!?
I know this is probably due to lens distortion but it makes it looks like the shelf is literally going to break from the weight of all those nendos hahah
Is that Miyafuji? ^^ I would love to have her :p
And here I thought I had a big collection of dvds. Yours tops mine ;p
I wish i had the Louise Varieru nendoroid :(
You know that kinda surprised me. I though I'd check Mandarake and E-bay for you but not a single one to be found. I though seen a few going on Yahoo Japan, which I've been using this proxy service to buy from https://shoppingmalljapan.com/.
You don't have to sign up with them if you just want to do some searches so try selecting Yahoo Japan, type in Nendoroid and select figure from the drop down and see whats being sold.
Depends on how desperate you are but to be honest I've used this proxy service for about 20 or so Nendo's so far without a single problem and their commision is not too expensive.
