Type-Moon Universe Character Relationships Chart [Contains Spoilers]

Was having a browse through Danbooru. Found an interesting chart showing how some of the characters relate to each other whether they be from another series in the Type-moon universe. It managed to wrap up a few uncertainties I had lingering between Kara no Kyoukai and Tsukihime as well as Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Hollow Ataraxia (since there is no English translation for the game yet). Hope this chart was helpful to others as it was for me.

I look at this map like once a week. lol I wish they would do some amazing crossover VN. Or maybe I don't. The subtle connections is what makes it cool I suppose.

The real mind cuss is when you look at Kara No Kyoukai, which is suposed to be an alternate reality of Tsukihime, yet they have sisters that overlap the stories, and then in the new Melty Blood game, the female Shiki is in it. How does that work?

I'm not familiar with the Melty Blood series but I do roughly know what it is. Like you said its the subtle connections that do make it cool. Since there is a small link that could hook you to another series that you have not watched or could intrigue you as you might want to watch it for curiosity's sake.

With female Shiki, I have no clue really, I didn;t follow the manga of it, all I know is that she died or disappeared in the movie. That's all I know so far.

Yeah after I said that I realized there are even more weird little things about that universe. Plus+Disc and Kagetsu Tohya take place after the Arcueid "Good Ending" in Tsukihime and Melty Blood take place after a non-existent Satsuki route that was never finished in Tsukihime. lol

Hmm I feel like finding Melty Blood now. Worth playing? It's like Fate/Unlimited Codes right?

Well it's a 2D Fighter and it has a pretty steep learning curve. It's all about canceling out the other fighters moves. Fate/Unlimited Codes is a good fighter but I feel it was built around trying to emulate the feel of the characters from the VN/show, where Melty Blood feels like it was built as a fighter first and then added the characters on top of that.

It's a lot of fun though. If you like King of Fighters or SNK fighting games Melty Bloo0d seems more in the same vein as that, where Unlimited codes feels more like a Capcom fighter (I wonder why? hmmmm).

But if you are a Tsukihime fan it is worth it just to see your favorite characters in action.

But no matter how u place the pieces its too hard for Cannaan to link it to the main tsukihime arc.
There are no mini-linked plots unlike fate stay night to tsukihime they are.
kara no kyoukai to tsukihime and fate stay night to kara no kyoukai.

further more there is no magic elements in canaan.

If they anyone who have magician bloodline in Cannaan, then perhaps there is a relation,or else it will be quite impposible to relate...

Hmm indeed Canaan might fall into the Type-Moon category but may not necessarily be in the universe, as Canaan is a adaption of the game 428 or something along the lines of that. I could be wrong though. I might have to look it up again.
