Adopt a Mini Dollfie Dream Louise Contest
Yes, a contest to adopt Mini Dollfie Dream Louise is here! As many of you are already aware of the ongoing contest for DD Sasara hosted by another Figure.fm member. I have decided to place MDD Louise up for adoption as well. The sad part is that I only have one MDD Louise but you will all have a chance to compete for her. MDD Louise is in Perfect condition and has yet to set eyes on anyone (Dollfies are rumored to talk to the first person they see…). I have yet to see Louise myself and will further inspect Louise’s condition if requested by the winner. Adoption fee for MDD Louise is set at $590.00 USD + Shipping to be paid to my Paypal account. Financing or Layaway plans are available but MDD Louise will not be shipped until paid in full. An early cancellation fee of $50.00 USD will be charged for breaking Louise’s heart.

Contest Rules are as follows:
* Contestant must already be a member at Figure.fm, and have already introduced himself/herself to the community in one way or another, in an attempt to weed out any potential Dollfie Dream reseller.
* Submit an “application” to become Louise’s new parent, this “application” can be represented in any form; it can be a Louise fan art, flash animation, composite photo, a poem, an essay, absolutely anything you can think of that can show how much you are going to love your new daughter Louise. Your goal here is to impress the “Judges” and show how much affection you have for Louise, please keep that in mind and keep it in good taste.
* Contestants will have to submit their application to me at vietyo at yahoo dot com (vietyo@yahoo.com) no later than the end of the day on December 11th, 2009 PST.
* The winner of this contest will be contacted by email and announced on figure.fm if he/she wishes.

I wish this contest could be extended a little... Like some of my fellow figure.fm members, I've decided to purchase a lottery entry for one of the Dollfies in the upcoming Dolpa 22 (I was considering the contest for Sasara, but the price was a little out of my budget despite the huge price chop by Wolfheinrich). I would most definitely try for Louise if I didn't win the lottery entry... But there's no possible way to try for both since your contest ends before the lottery winners are announced (December 16th). But man, I would love to give a crack at some fan-art work for the lovely Louise~

Yes, there is a chance I can extend the event but there is also a Layaway option if you decide to enter.

The thing is, I've saved up the money necessary to buy a dollfie (and a little extra for shipping), so I'd be able to pay in full up front. But with other expenses, I can really only afford one, layaway or not. Can't deny that a DD and an MDD together sounds tempting though~ Am I to assume that Louise comes with both outfits pictured?
The contest is only for Volks MDD Louise. The images belong to Volks Inc. and are only used to provide an example of what Louise looks like since I have not seen her myself. She is still in the packaging box that I received her in.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be a good caretaker of a Dollfie.

As this contest has come to a close, I believe there have been some difficulties caused by powerful VOID magic... There are no winners at this time! It is possible that Louise cast a spell to prevent anyone from having a chance to adopt her at this time. Perhaps her Saito is still out there somewhere? If anyone is still interested in Louise, I will consider extending the contest date to a later time based upon the amount of e-mails that I receive in the above post. You will have until Dec 26th to e-mail me to re-schedule or extend the contest ending date. Thanks and Happy Holidays ^^

I still wish I had enough money to afford both Mashiro and Louise. :( It's sad to watch this great opportunity go by, but the only way it would be possible for me is if I could pay off part of the adoption fee with art commissions. And I don't see that happening with how much she's worth. XDD
