MOONSTONE Complete Illustrations Art Book

Mitha is probably the best known of the MOONSTONE artists, and gives the games their signature look, kind of like Naru Nanao does with CIRCUS.

The cover art is a new illustration for the book and features the characters of Marginal Skip (マジスキ).

Some images come from games that pre-date Mitha's arrival to the company, like this one from Ashita Deatta Shoujo (あした出逢った少女).

Gift has one of the largest sections in the book, though it is separate from Gift Nijirio Stories.

Though there are a lot of illustrations in this 24-page section, as many as nine illustrations are squeezed onto a page, making it look more like a thumbnail index than an art book page.

The last section is the newest game, Marginal Skip (マジスキ). The school uniforms in this one are so similar to Gift that I had to do a double take to check the differences :P

There are 20 pages dedicated to Marginal Skip, but if you're really interested in this game, I'd suggest going for the Marginal Skip Offical Fan Book (マジスキ~Marginal Skip~オフィシャルファンブッ) that came out last month.

Clear and Clear Crystal Stories (クリスタルストーリーズ) take up 20 and 6 pages respectively. These sections also have a lot of illustrations that previously were only in the magazines they were initially published in.

Even though a lot of pictures tend to be crowded onto a single page, I still think this is a pretty nice book, especially with the extensive amounts of art work from each game. Some images are quite rare because they're telecards, or were only in one magazine, so it might be your only chance to see them in this book!
