RGM-79SPC Sniper Custom
With the weapons done and the final touch ups completed, the kit is gathered together for pictures. All in all, I’m fairly satisfied with the final product. When I had finished pulling the masking tape off from the digital cameo painting sessions, I wasn’t entirely sure I was happy with how it turned out. I was contemplating whether or not I should strip it and start anew. I think the weathering processes, clear coats, and decals help tone things down and balance things out. I had a really good time building the weapons and doing the small modifications. I can see the allure of full scratch building things. It’s amazing to see things so randomly strewn together come out to look fairly solid as if it was originally designed in such a manner.

great job..
maybe how about adding additional stabilizer for the sniper rifle..
Additional stabilizer? Not sure I understand what you mean by that. If you mean a bi-pod or something so that the weapon can be fired in a crouched/prone position, I guess it sorta make sense.
Wow! GM sniper looks GAR.
The head looks like codarl when the visor is down, and the big cable is very nice
It looks awesome... Nice mods on the gundam ^_^
Hmm to be honest when it comes to digi camo paint jobs I prefer a clean look ^^ Somehow a weathered camo doesn't seem right for me. But it is your kit so do what you fancy :) But nevertheless, a great job on pulling it off! Must have taken a long time to do all that pattern!(don't think I can ever pull that off!) And I love what you have done with your weapons, thats some solid painting!!
Yeah, but a suit painted in any scheme does get dirty when in use correct? :P
The pattern is pretty easy, just VERY time consuming, so anyone can do it, you just need to have the patience to invest in the time it takes. Definitely worth it. I recommend doing a color layout on the computer or a drawing before so you have a general idea or plan of doing things. I just went in blindly and then saw the result after pulling the masking tape off; always a good idea to plan ahead!
Love the weathering effects & the mechanised 'eye' area....!
