Testing out Maid outfit for DD M-bust :D

Working on making M bust maid outfit ;) Unfortunately I don't have enough of the exact same lace, but the rest is being adjusted to fit the M bust properly ^o^ With kind permission from Danny I am sharing some photos of the progress made so far ;3 I'm using a different fabric for the under skirt part as I am adjusting some parts :3

Looking nice. My Lilly has m bust, Marya L bust and Amber has the mdd m bust. Hope to get a m bust part for Marya at one point and when I can afford a body for Jenny, she'll be m bust too (or small if volks release it later)
I personally think the l bust is too big for my liking and I also don't like how the nipples are sculpted on it XD of course I have a hatred of large busts in pretty much anything, dolls, figures, anime, tv, art. Big breasts always bother me because I have always had large ones myself and have hated them all along. At 12 I was a b cup when all my class mates were still only in vests or training bras, at 16 and an e cup, I already had larger breasts then most people, even teachers. I'm up to a g cup at the moment and thankfully they finally seemed to have stopped growing. So yeah, I hate big busts (and I cannot lie)
I like the m bust because its a nice size, not too big, not too small. It's a reasonable size. Wish I could buy a 'm bust part' for me lol!

The funny thing is after having the twins on L/dynamite busts I kinda grew to like them LOL But I am happy that my girls have different busts now ^^
Oh, cute! Interesting choice in using a print for the faux underdress. I think it works for Himitsu, but would be bizarre if a more elegant girl, say Danny's Saber!Mirai, were wearing it.
I don't have a Dollfie yet, but will most likely have an M bust girl when I do get one. I'm also considering a custom DDDy down the line, but it'll have to be WAY down the line seeing as she'd require not only custom clothes but even custom firepower and a custom wig. XD
The under dress is more a test piece, the final version is gonna be white :) I make them with a different fabric so I can tell them apart later on ^^;
Ah, gotcha. Still, the print doesn't look bad necessarily, it just might not jive with every girl's stile. ;)
BAH, style, style! I'm not talking about ladders going into horse corrals. >.<
M Bust looks nice though since it seems that the apron can work towards to become a stretchable fit for both M and L Bust.
What will be the next ambitious project?

The problem with stretchy is the elastic may wear out over time ^^; Also the dress part (the orange part) the L bust doesn't fit the M bust properly, which is why I have to make a different pattern completely to the previous L bust pattern ^^; MDD size actually could be less challenging, depending on the bust piece ^^;

Your craftsmanship, especially for a small scale, is amazing! ^.^ I'm not sure I like the green and white fabric with the orange, though. But I really like how the DD04 head looks here, her smile looks more subtle than other pictures I've seen... What mods did you do? Didn't you mention something about sanding one cheek?
My only daughter Sasara has the DDdy Shapely bust, because that’s what she came with. I don't really like the Shapely shape though lol, it looks unnatural IMO, I'm considering getting her a DDII with L bust. My future daughters will probably have a variety of bust sizes so they can wear a variety of looks. Thank goodness the busts are pretty easy to swap out!
Green and white fabric is a test piece, kinda use it to tell it apart from the final. I sanded one cheek yes, and used chalk pastels for her lips and cheeks. I actually find the busts pain in the bum to swap lol!
I'm curious now, why just one cheek? xD I'm considering getting this head in the future as well and I think the smile might be just a tad too intense lol. Also I meant easy to swap out compared to resin BJDs, where there is either no bust option at all, or you have to unstring the whole doll to change bust parts! :0

Rin's an M, Mikuru's an L, and Sasara's a DDDy Shapely bust. All I need now is Moe-chan and I can call them Oppai Tamashii sisters.

Moiraine Rin is an M Bust.
Beatrice is an L bust
Mikuru is an L bust
Hakufu when shes done will prolly end up being a Dynamite Dream body not sure if she'll be Shapely or regular. though I may just make her a DD regular body with an L bust.. haven't figured that out yet.
And Little Illya, she's wearing a MDD L bust only because she begged for bigger oppai.. got tired of the other girls calling her flat chested. but she can go back to her S bust anytime.
Ya know it occurs to me.. that reading that comment.. you'd think I'm a huge oppai fan. That is not true.. I actually prefer small oppai. Just thought I'd make that clear.
With my girls I just try to stay as true to their size as possible. Except Illya.. again she was being picked on horrible.. and didn't fill out some of her outfits.. at all.. which was ruining her self - esteem.
Bad enough the girl is stuck partically forever as a Loli.. especially when she's like what according the fate story.. 17 years old.
Heehee Taiga is flat chested too, luckily she's somewhat okay with it I think ^^; She rules over the others anyways ^^;
Well Taiga has that personality, so it makes sense. ^_^ Gotta admit Chun, you do a good job of sewing.. Do you hand baste the practice stitchs or do you machine baste em to try the pattern fabric out?
hand basting takes way too long ^^;;; I generally machine sew, and hand baste to temporarily join together the parts which needs more precision?
Ahh, My sewing machine has a basting stitch option.. just wonderin if thats what I should be using when making test peices. Cause, picking straight line threads.. takes.. Well forever!
Appreciate the info Chun.. It will definately help me.. Still getting used to sewing.. its a lot simpler then I thought before I learned how to use a machine. but its still more complex then some of the things I've done on machine tools ^_^
Oh! Hmm I didn't think there's a basting stitch option in the machine lol. And yes unpicking takes a while sometimes ^^; I find it kinda relaxing if I do it on a different time tho!
Picking stitchs.. relaxing.. Mmm interesting.. I just can't seem to relax while doing it.. Usually in a rush while doing it.. which isn't good.
Yeah, I got a Husqavarna 830, Its a really slick sewing machine. Computer controled.. lots of stitchs. All kinds of bells and whistles. Only reason I adore the machine.. its a got a start and stop button.. where it'll tie off the beginning of the stitch.. and the end of a stitch.. so no more backpassing.

I'll be making a set to keep for referencing :) the one and only I made earlier is with Danny so it's a bit harder without an actual piece to reference to despite the pattern ^^; But yes it would be cute! :D
