So I have my MG Freedom box which has been sitting in my room for a while now collecting dust and I've been meaning to build it but I don't have any sandpaper or do I know what I want to paint it (I'm also kinda lazy :P) >___< So I ask you people what you have on your minds :D I was originally going to paint it bling bling cause I love shiny stuff but I don't now where to get Tamiya clear colors because my local hobby shop doesn't have any but sometimes, a can or two pops up out of nowhere so maybe I'll be in luck the next time I stop by XD Just making sure you need about 800-1000 grit sandpaper for gunpla right? I'm trying to make my third build look really nice and I'm planning to spend a lot of time on it considering school doesn't chuck hw and projects at me too often ^^;;;;; So please give suggestions on color schemes and please try to be specific! :] One more thing :P I was wondering about modding with plaplate. Seeing work like donc0023's Infinite Justice really inspired me and got me interested in attempting to mod :D Some tips to give me for example; What would you cut plaplate with? How would you cut the exact same piece again? What to use when attaching to a model? How big or small to make the plates? And stuff like that ^^ One more thing <______< I also would like some kit suggestions too if you have time to drop me a comment on what kits are nice :D Thanks for reading my excessively long post ^o^

    wut im planning to do for my freedom is make the inner frame gunmetal. Then use ts-19 for the blue parts and glossy black for the black parts of course. What i was planning to do is a fusion of the 00 raiser and the freedom. like the green circle parts would be on the wrist, below the elbow and at the side of the knees. Then i wud add those energy cables or power cables ( like the see thru or lite blue ones from exia mg) on som places. i had a crazy idea to add a huge weapon tht is a combination of the gn sword 3 and the long freeedom beam rifle. i was also thinking of putting a gn drive on the back of freeedom and use the the two blue parts from the side of the 0 raiser's wings as fangs fin funnels. LOL its a crazy idea but i think i mite giv it a shot

        LOL u know wut i will i think il use my strike freedom lol, more funnels :P. but ye after i get my pg 00 raiser and a few mg il work into it, i just wanna kno how to add those kool metal thrusters and wher i can get them

          I'm pretty sure you can get metal thrusters from www[dot]mechaskunk[dot]com easy replace :P Looking forward to your works ^^

    an all white freedom would be nice..:D with some red and gold details..^^ for a kit, MG astray blue frame second revise, MG sword impulse or MG infinite justice are some good MGs..:D

      I've been thinking about IJ and Blue Frame :] I already have a Sword Impulse. Thanks for the suggestions and I'll consider that for my Freedom ^^

    I cant help you much when it comes to plating since I havent done it myself, but for models, MG Sword Impulse looks great like rusinstein said, MG Wing Zero Version KA, MG Force Impulse (although its the same as Sword Impulse except for the silhouette and color scheme. PG GP01 looks great too !

      I've also been thinking about the Wing ver. Ka cause its not to costly and looks purty x3 PG's are kind of out of my spending limit.... But there will come a day when its time to buy one XD Thanks :]

    it would take a long time for me to answer all those but
    usually you would use a in-between thickness for pla plate- anything styrene is fine.

    - using a hobby knife to score the plate takes forever + dangerous... just use scissors for a fairly big piece- you can make crude cuts and glue the pieces together with super glue or modeling cement. once you have 2 almost similar, doesnt have to be perfect pieces- sand it down to the correct shape because you will have to sand anyways! so you get the pieces even

    go there- the mod also hangs around DC- he posted the GM sniper earlier

    U should give it a jungle camouflauge effect, and give it forest green colors and a few brown colors. I think that would look totally cool. I still think your Strike Noir is the coolest gundam I've seen yet. :D
