Soap on a rope
Not really haha. I was at work today and was receiving shipment. Among them was a big box from Infinity Ward with the word "Winner" out side. Curious, I decided to receive this box first amongst all and I came across this statuette (not sure if it can be called a figure) of Soap McTavish from Modern Warfare 2. Its a pretty much just a statuette of him from the level called "cliffhanger" For a statuette, it weighs a good 3 pounds, and has interchangeable arms, an M14 EBR (i think) two pistols, and a set of ice pics. Turns out my store was number 1 in the region in terms of customer reserves and number of pick ups. So we got 5 statuettes from IW. Im not really into statuettes so I was pondering on selling it as soon as I get an idea of how much these things cost. I think ive seen them at Fry's but I dont remember. Anyways, I guess its part of my December loot so I decided to post it here :] More of my loot to come Friday :]
Now that I look at it, it doesnt really look like Soap. But it has to be because he's holding Price's .45 right ? Oh and yea I was watching Full Metal Panic Fumoffu haha.
I think he looks a bit like George Clooney. Especially in image ID#35147.

Not sure about the figure... never really got into my modern warfare 2, even though all my friends were yelling at me to! Full metal Panic in the background? :P

Unfortunately, he's a U.K. exclusive. He comes only with the "Veteran" edition of MW2.
I heard you can buy it supposedly over here. Not so sure since Im hearing its an exclusive to UK with the veteran edition like Camo Max said.
Yeah, the Vet edition comes with a copy of MW2, an art book, a steel case, a code to download the original CoD and of course, 'Soap' himself.
The prestige edition here came with the nvg instead haha. I tried on a pair, and they werent as bad as I thought theyd be. Still no where near military grade tho haha
Hmmm both are really appealing. Nice find, wish Singapore had their own special edition that came with MW2. If there is one, i haven't seen or heard about it.

I'd say so. Actually, I'd like to see some MGS4 figures; those would be pretty awesome.

I first saw him about a month ago and went "T_________T" when I found out I couldn't buy him. Koto is awesome at statues like these, but so darn expensive too >3<
