Another "First Dollfie" Post
My very first dollfie has arrived!
It was about a year ago I first found out about dollfies when Danny shared his acquisition of DD Saber. I really wanted to get one at the time but when I saw the huge price tag I talked myself out of it. Once figure.fm was up and running there were a huge amount of posts about dollfies and eventually I couldn't resist getting one.
Back in October I was able to win the Volks USA lottery for Natsuki and I thought she would be my first dollfie but one day I was looking through Yahoo Auctions and saw 3 auctions open for DD Haruhi! Being a huge Haruhi fan I wasn't going to let this chance slip by. I lost the first 2 auctions but I was able to win the third with the use of Goody Japan.
Now the tough part is to figure out where to display her and make sure I don't blow my budget on dollfie accessories.
I was too lazy to set up any lights and my camera's pretty old so I apologize that the pics aren't very good.

Congrats on a successful adoption. I was looking at Haruhi on Yahoo japan earlier today.. she's cute. but being unemployed I can't do it. Since I'm saving what little flow I got for Rina-chan. But there is always sometime in the future.
Do yaself a favor.. don't leave her shoes or socks on too long.. Wanna avoid staining at all costs. and invest in a Wig cap. or a light coloured wig. Staining is something we all deal with.. but its best avoided if at all possible.
I can see why haruhi was picked :) Congrats! I have not seen much of her and look forward to seeing more pics!
