How do you count how many anime titles you've watched...

Dialogue is as follows:
Kouhai: Sempai, how do you keep the count of how many anime titles you've watched?
Sempai: Quite simple. Every time I finish watching the last episode, I drink a can of beer for the creator's health. Write the title on the can with permanent marker. And add it to the collection.
Sempai: Do you want to see my room?

*And what about you?

Something about a good anime just clicks and lets me remember the name, story, and characters. Otherwise it's just another title-only memory.
For example, I can name almost (and I mean almost) every character that has appeared in Kinoko Nasu's works.

I have a really long Word document to keep track of the anime I've watched and the manga I own. The manga list really helps when I'm going manga shopping so I don't accidentally buy doubles... again.

I just have MyAnimeList and MALupdater do all the hardwork for me. Keeps a list of all that I've watched, what I'm watching, what I plan to watch and I don't even have to go to the website to add a new series. It'll add when I just watch the first episode.

MAL + MAL Updater = not much effort needed to update. But the initial entry was a killer. I basically went through every page of the list of anime they had to add.

And the God Emperor Zun demands more beer.

I use MAL and a txt. file just in case :D
I kind of easily lose track of how much I've watched of an anime, so updating those lists is a must!

it's kind of hard to keep track if you've been watching anime since you're 5, you tend to forget a few dozen.

I reached critical mass a long time ago. I constantly watch so many shows that I forget what happens in some of the older ones and so I re-watch many of them.

Its a vicious cycle that I am trapped in :*(

So in answering the question originally posed, I don't!

I don't really keep a physical list... I mean, my memory is good enuff for this stuff (the good and bad series)

do keep an Excel file for my manga list tho! It helps keep track of the 70+ titles floating around my room
