How do you count how many anime titles you've watched...

Dialogue is as follows:
Kouhai: Sempai, how do you keep the count of how many anime titles you've watched?
Sempai: Quite simple. Every time I finish watching the last episode, I drink a can of beer for the creator's health. Write the title on the can with permanent marker. And add it to the collection.
Sempai: Do you want to see my room?
*And what about you?

myanimelist is my best friend. :D
Ditto.. I update mine regularly, 'bout once every 2 months.
D:
I use it daily.
Same here ^_^ Hard to remeber all of the anime I have seen before I had myanimelist though ^^
Completely agree, but now I use it everyday.
Something about a good anime just clicks and lets me remember the name, story, and characters. Otherwise it's just another title-only memory.
For example, I can name almost (and I mean almost) every character that has appeared in Kinoko Nasu's works.
lol i use MAL as well ^^
kinda lazy to update these days
I have a really long Word document to keep track of the anime I've watched and the manga I own. The manga list really helps when I'm going manga shopping so I don't accidentally buy doubles... again.
mm... i have a .txt file? xD i list animes, manga, games, dramas... of all i've finished, not yet finished and never gonna finish... and another .txt file with all my to watch anime. at least the file is safe with me not gonna die off in some corner of the internet when it goes extinct? and easily accessible! \^^/
I just have MyAnimeList and MALupdater do all the hardwork for me. Keeps a list of all that I've watched, what I'm watching, what I plan to watch and I don't even have to go to the website to add a new series. It'll add when I just watch the first episode.
At first I created a html file but then later I just recopied it on excel. I still update my html file every couple of months.
MAL + MAL Updater = not much effort needed to update. But the initial entry was a killer. I basically went through every page of the list of anime they had to add.
And the God Emperor Zun demands more beer.
this http://www.anime-planet.com/
and this is all the anime I have seen: http://www.anime-planet.com/users/danielmer
I use to use Anime planet but myanimelist had more series on it so I switch to it. Haven't updated in sometime, too busy. http://myanimelist.net/animelist/Syaoranli
I use MAL and a txt. file just in case :D
I kind of easily lose track of how much I've watched of an anime, so updating those lists is a must!
it's kind of hard to keep track if you've been watching anime since you're 5, you tend to forget a few dozen.
I actually just write them down in a notebook.
I've almost got a couple pages down! :'D
I reached critical mass a long time ago. I constantly watch so many shows that I forget what happens in some of the older ones and so I re-watch many of them.
Its a vicious cycle that I am trapped in :*(
So in answering the question originally posed, I don't!
Never heard of this 'my anime list', will check it out. I use www.anime-planet.com, and I also write down the name of the series in a cute notebook~
I don't really keep a physical list... I mean, my memory is good enuff for this stuff (the good and bad series)
do keep an Excel file for my manga list tho! It helps keep track of the 70+ titles floating around my room
