What to get for Xmas????

Need help on this one. What do you think? I plan it to be a xmas gift for myself. I only have budget for one and they both have the same price!
And I often see Zeta carrying a Bow, I think they are mods, but where did it start? is it something famous? I know I've atleast seen 3 different Zeta's carrying Bows.

Go for unicorn, it will probably be the hottest gundam next year after the OVA starts.

Being an owner of both the MG Zeta Ver.2.0 and the MG Unicorn, I'd say this:
If you want rock-solid transformation and great articulation, go for the Zeta. It has an almost complete inner frame and great articulation that is indeed 2.0 quality without sacrificing on transformation. It transforms into Wave Rider mode with no flimsy bits or loose parts anywhere. It comes with an adjustable display base which looks like a launch pad as well.
If you want absolute Katoki beauty and awesomeness, get the Unicorn. The drawback of the Unicorn is its less solid transformation and lower articulation. Some areas are not anchored solidly after transforming, and it has loose ankle joints. The HGUC version solves the transformation issue and to a small extent, the articulation. daymien is right too, Unicorn will probably be a hot series too.
Interesting notes by evolutionayu. I have both MGs but still unbuilt. But if I have to choose, I'd go for Zeta because it's a classic and you can't go wrong with that. On top of that, it's a ver2.0 and comes with its own base.
For Unicorn, you'll have to buy its customize base seperately and some people have complain about its weak joints in Destroy mode.
But like Damien said, you can get Unicorn because it's gonna be more "in season" when it airs next year. Before I got the Zeta, I have always known that I'll get Zeta sooner or later because once you get into Gunpla, Zeta's one of the must get. ^^
Yes yes yes! Interesting points there evolutionayu! Being an owner of both I am sure those are first hand information :) So the Zeta is more solid, the unicorn more flimsy, but unicorn will be hot by next year... hmmmmm....
Do you guys think its possible that another Unicorn version will come out by next year because of the Unicorn OVA's? If so then if I think like that, I'll buy the Zeta now (UC BANZAI!!!) and wait for a Unicorn OVA related MG release.
It is also interesting to note that down here in the comments Zeta appears to be winning but up in the poll unicorns trailing the Zeta hahhah

This just in, my little sister voted for the Unicorn O.o maybe the pink did her in o.O and she said it'll look xmas'y with a santa hat as it is generally white o.O hahaha
But Zeta 2.0's face is for me... It really captured the Zeta feel (I didnt like the first Zeta's heads 1.0, A1 and its other incarnations)
This is such a hard decision! But my pocket only allows one! ahahahahha

go for zeta, the unicorn has very very limited articulation, it just looks great standing..plus the zeta ver.2.0 has a big action base, you'll get more for the same price..:)
Hmmm gotta love that action base, point taken rusinstein :) Kind of ironic though voting for Zeta with Unicorn as an avatar hahahah

In my mind I would say its still an even mat6ch between the two and its still hard to decide o.O I'll plan to make my order by tomorrow and pick it up by friday but if things continue to be a stalemate I might just go to my local hobby shop on friday and toss coin on it Hahahahaha
hehehe, yeah..XD aesthetically, Unicorn is one of my favorite..:) but when compared to a Zeta, price, details, articulation, Zeta definitely wins..:D
Alright after giving it much thought and since more of the active comments are for Zeta I have finally decided to get Zeta 2.0 :) Thanks Much to all those who gave their thoughts on this and I am happy to announce that the hobby shop where I plan to buy the kit suddenly had a xmas sale weee!!!!
