I did remembering you posting for advice some time ago. So where did you go for them at the end?
got the Nu Gundam HWS , Gundam 2.0, Strike E Gundam from two toy shops from Wan chai area
There was this MG Astray Blue Frame there that was only 316 HKD!! OMG! LOL.. was gonna choose the astray but the Strike E was only 250 HKD++ couldn't resist the grand slam..
00 Seven swords and the BB Gundam, i got them from a department store.. they were on sale so yeah.. :D
The dengeki hobby magazine was actually from HLJ.. lol :D
Just checked your prices with the official ones, and yep sounds like you've picked some good places to shop. Have been curious which ones you've been to since I live in Hong Kong, and I often ponder in Wan Chai i.e. around 188 Oriental (although I am not in Hong Kong at this very moment). Could you have been to the model shop that is near 188 (Wai Le)? Or the bunch of shops in Tai Yuen Street? Don't worry if you can't remember - it's just that I need to plan when someone else is planning to meet me sometime next week (when I AM in Hong Kong).
Sorry couldn't really rmr.. I spent the whole looking for hobby shops in mong kong but i can't find any... i had a very wth feeling since i thought i've been cheated(i most probably just couldn't find it thats all..)... so went i reached wan chai i wasn't really paying attention since i was quite pessimistic about actually finding gundams and when i did.. i was so happy i could not even care what street it was... lol sorry..
Just rmr it was some shop on the street after you come out of the MTR and there was the word toy on its signboard..
oh yeah they had a PG 00raiser for 1600~1666 HKD which was extremely cheap!!
Yea shops in Mong Kok may not be easy to find, even though they may offer more stuff in Wan Chai. I would normally recommend Kwong Wa Street, which has a whole street of gunpla, models, and airsoft guns.
If you'd managed to his up Mong Kok, the last time I was there, I saw blue frame for 290-ish I think 298...
