Boxes Stacking

Posted by gordon [www]

This is where I store my figures boxes. Recently I decided to do some housekeeping by stacking the smaller box into the medium box then into the big box to save space. Managed to free up half the space. ^^

Mouseover = load notes.

Mouseover = load notes.
Boxes Stacking

First I got rid of all the inner plastic.

Mouseover = load notes.
Boxes Stacking

Then I try to stack as many boxes as i possibly could into each other. Here we shall see how we stack 7 smaller boxes into 1 bigger box.

Mouseover = load notes.
Boxes Stacking

First the smallest one, the Chibi Sheryl ichiban kuji box will go inside the Nanaka bust box.

Mouseover = load notes.
Boxes Stacking

Then into the Ryou box.

Mouseover = load notes.
Boxes Stacking

Then into the Fauna box.

Mouseover = load notes.
Boxes Stacking

Then into the Melissa box.

Mouseover = load notes.
Boxes Stacking

Then into the Yoko box.

Mouseover = load notes.
Boxes Stacking

Then into the Feito box.

Mouseover = load notes.
Boxes Stacking

And then finally into the Mikuru box

Mouseover = load notes.
Boxes Stacking

And we are done. Repeat the same for the rest of the boxes. Though the rest can only stack 1 to 3 boxes at the most.

Mouseover = load notes.
Boxes Stacking

So I have reduced the amount of boxes from this...

Mouseover = load notes.
Boxes Stacking

... to this.

Now I have more space to buy more figures? Oh no... @.@||

        Does that mean you threw out the clear plastic? Then why bother having the boxes?

          Yeah, boxes seem kind of pointless without the plastic, if you needed to put one back, it'd move around... :|

          But if you just like having the boxes for the sake of it, it's a good idea to save space. The amount fitting into Mikuru's box is crazy!

    This makes me think of those Russian matryoshka dolls.

    Also, I noticed that you displayed some gunpla boxart as posters. Very nice!

    I do this to some of my gunpla boxes but not the figure boxes since I don't know where to throw away the inner plastics. OTL and the boxes are stacking high now.

    Very smart, although now you can't box up your figures again properly if you'd want, with all the plastic gone. Still a very good way to save space though, I'll remember it ^^
