Ami Futami transformed from Strawberry Snow Edition to Brilliant Stage Edition, it took ages to find a metallic-pink paint, I ended up working with an enamel paint which was a nightmare, harder to use and takes forever to dry between coats

Hot rodimus repainted from gross orange and red to a nice metallic-black and blue. Paint work not too great on him, but thats a long story...

V-Dash Gundam from ordinary boring Gundam colours to gold and silver, also shoddy paint job on him, as the gold paint is stupid and clumps and even after top coat still comes of at joints.

What you've used, regular or air brush?
I can't afford to buy an air brush I just paint by hand :)

What gold paint are you using? It looks good on PVC figures (Revoltechs), but I'm guessing that V-Dash Gundam is a 1/100 Bandai kit, not a toy? I'm guessing you're using acrylic?
I usually don't have too many problems with hand-painting my Gundams, but I usually give them either the full coat of Primer (Tamiya White Primer is a PERFECT base for Gundam white), or coat them with a Lacquer or Acrylic Gloss clear coat before doing any painting.
just Tamiya Gold Leaf, yeah the gundam is a 1/100 HG kit I won in a comp. Yes all the paints are acrylic except the pink which was enamel. I dont bother priming am too lazy :P

Awesome job! I really like how your repaints turned out compared to the original colors.
Somehow this post reminds me of Austin Powers: Goldmember when Goldmember says, "I like goooooolllllddddd!" XD I do like gold too, so your re-paints look goooooooooooooooood!
