Final Fantasy XIII Themes & Music Video. THE VIDEOS MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS.
Japanese Version is called 君がいるから (Kimi ga Iru Kara) sung by Sugawara Sayuri
FINAL FANTASY XIII テーマソング「君がいるから」 / 菅原紗由理
US Version called Hands Sung by Leona Lewis. Its starts 5 seconds in. I do not think the song suits Final Fantasy XIII unless there is tradegy in Final Fantasy XIII and lots of close people to Lightning pass away. I was right if you watch it shows the funeral coffin of someone and then its either Lightning following behind or her sister.

Jup, I think the JP song suits the game better, but then again, I think it should be played as the JP original anyways.....it's just that my Japanese is not good enough to follow it. So I guess I'll have to wait for the EU version ^^;
I don't have PS3 yet. May get one just to get Fifa 10, Pro Evo, and Final Fantasy. If they make more Gundam Series and put G Generation on the PS3 I would get it too.
The japanese version of the OP really captures the feelings of game...can't say the same for the english version...but can't do much since i am stuck with it due to my lack of understanding of japanese....
tbh, square has pretty much ruined the game for me not having Jap Dub, English Sub and then now this crap that is Leona Lewis! I was lookin forward to this game.
agreed, they should have dubbed the Japanese version to english but now i have to listen to leona lewis singing ( the song doesn't ever go with the game ^^;)
Nothing is better than the original version, but the english opening is quite good.
The Japanese version feels like a FF theme song, whereas the Eng version doesn't really fit imo. I'm not saying its not a good song, it just doesn't have that FF feel to as in the previous FF games.
