Was out and about today, in areas around Japan while it was an absolutely gorgeous day in Tokyo (and elsewhere). Crystal clear skies with a lot of freezing wind, but it still made for some good photos of my traveling.

These shots were taken on the Shinkansen while on my way out west this morning. Thought you guys would love these, some came out quite good.

Working on many other articles now, one is heavily anime related so I'll try and post that over here to share with you guys when it's done.

Does great with landscape shots but I can't make night shots work. There's probably something I'm missing.
Still, a decent camera that has served me well. ^_^

Beautiful pics. Hope I get to see all of Fuji-san on my next trip. It was overcast in Hakone when I went and couldn't get a full pic of the mountain.

Same for me in May 08. The only pics I got of the peak was when I was already at the 5th station halfway up the mountain. Anything from ground level or Hakone was surrounded by cloud.

Wow, looking at it from afar is definitely more majestic than when I was hiking on it (http://www.ahbonk.net/?p=224), with the snowcap and all.

Those are really beautiful pics! Saved some into my hard drive :)
