White Album Dollfie Dream Update
Well, after waiting for well over a month (painfully), we have finally gotten some update from Volks on the White Album Dollfie Dream! The Volks Japanese page has been updated, but it will take well over a week before they get to their English site update, so here is a peek at the information they have released so far.

I am exciting by the news, looks like the head mold will be under good designers and the project schedule is slated to be released by the end of the year! Although they are running it a little bit behind my expectation, I am still looking forward for early summer 2010 release date. I am still pretty much set on pre-adopting Rina, but now I have to give it a second thought on whether I should pick up Yuki as well...
So awesome.. but so expensive. T-T.. Dollfie Dream prices are killer.
I checked on the White Album page and it says they both come with "マイク、マイクスタンド" which is a mic (microphone) and a mic stand!! That's cool! (too bad they don't sing, haha) And the price is reasonable too. I'm excited and at the same time afraid they will both be too gorgeous I'll have to pay 2 at the same time ^^"
I suspected as much but thanks for your confirmation! My original estimate was 57600 yen so I am off by 400, which is not too bad. While I am determinedly a Rina man, Yuki's head design might pull off something nice so I have to keep my eyes open for that possibility.
I hope they sell the mic and mic stand separately as an accessory. Zetto needs a mic badly. Actually what he really needs is a mic on a boom stand because most guitarist/vocalists use a boom stand instead of a straight up and down stand because a straight stand can interfere with playing. Especially if you move around a lot.
I doubt it very much, but I'm sure a few will pop up on auction sites, a lot of people split their DD sets there, specially yahoo jp.
Well now someone's got to modify one of these Dollfies so that they can sing then, just like that dancing dollfie ^^

How does one get both of these and would the shipping be a killer?
There's going to be a pre-order period announced on the english site when it's ready. Shipping would be not too bad, as DD are pretty light dolls. It should be in the 60-80$ range or so is my guess...

I've made a decision on getting both, but since the wallet is gonna explode I'll go for Yuki and later Rina.

I also think on getting both, I'm a huge fan of white album and I don't think I can pass on these doll. I love both Yuki and Rina a lot, Yuki is the kinf of girl I am and Rina is the kind of girl I would like to be so the 2 are really important to me ^^
I'm just getting Rina-chan.. I wouldn't be able to look at Yuki DD and not think.. Train Wreck.
I'm sure they'll do a lovely job on both of them so, happy adoptions to everyone.
And the other beautiful thing is.. they didn't go and try to squeeze a DDdy body on one of these lovelies.. or the L bust.. they kept it simple^_^
Indeed brother, M bust is the way to go for the White Album girls. Surely they can't make the same mistake so soon as they did with baba butt now can they?
Well, I wouldn't have put it past them to make the same mistake twice. but lucky for us, they didn't.. Thank god.

I wish I could afford either of them. XD I'm more than halfway through the anime and, knowing who these girls are, I would have an awfully hard time deciding between their DDs if I could afford one. Rina's very beautiful and I'm sure she'll make a gorgeous DD, but Yuki's sweet qualities get to me and I'm sure she'll have an awesome head sculpt with the artist creating her.
Anyways, can't wait to see the actual girls! \o/

Hmm at first i was thinking about getting rina .. but after seeing the sculpt designer .. im more interested in how yuki is going to turn out now ....
yeah me too also I've just watched episode 18-19 and I really don't like what Rina have done to Yuki. Even if i'm in love with the boyfriend of my friend I would never do that. Poor Yuki...she is just to vulnerable and touya is really stupid.... So I need to wait for the end of the serie to choose wich one I'll get
