Business Cards
My new business cards arrived (For my blog, Animeloveu.com). Of course, it's debatable as to whether I even need business cards, but I like to hand them out to people who take my photo at cons so that they can send me the pictures. Of course, they almost never do...
I also like to give them to people I interview to trick them into thinking I'm a legitimate press member.
I use moo.com to print my cards. They're somewhat expensive, but I think they do a really good job.
Do you guys have business cards for your blog? Who does them?

The fronts of the three new cards

They all share the same back

My old 5 cards

These all had this back. Some people thought that by "Gonzo Journalist", I was saying that I work for Gonzo studios! I realized that it was silly of me to have that line there, as many people probably wouldn't get what it means, so I removed it for the new cards.

Looks almost CG! Awesome angle!
Thank you
Not too shabby! Mine used to have "Procrastinator & General Agitator" on them, aside from Beer Snob.... they look great!....
Second best job title I've ever heard of on a business card (Sorry, but "Sexual Ninja" is still #1)
I have business cards but I have 2 sets, one for anime fans and one for professional purposes. I have a small tip, don't use copyrighted artwork for your cards because it won't look professional and you won't be taken serious.
by the way, this is card I use for anime fans http://otakudan.com/2009/05/my-business-cards.html
Just what I was about to say myself with regards to the figure shots used.
To be fair, these are all photos I took of figures that I own, but perhaps your right that I should come up with a logo of my own. However, I still think the photos I use are appropriate as they show a little something about my photography, and since I do blog alot about figures.
I don't see the problem if the photos are yours.
If the photos communicate what you or your site is about then using it will work just fine in promoting yourself.
I know the photos are yours. I think what OD was driving at was if you wanted to really identify yourself with your namecard, then it would have to be something exclusively yours rather than pics of merchandise that you own. Unless your profession and focus is really to shoot toys as a service, having a more unique design would be a better way of promoting yourself.
That's just my two cents. ^_^
I agree, and now I'm excited to think up a new logo for my next cards.
Just out of curiosity, I wonder what OD's professional cards look like.
That's what a friend told me when I made mine. Mine is just for kick and plus it was a rush job. I guess I needed more time for proper planning. I mean if the cards are just for fun and to allow people to keep in touch with you without having to remember a whole bunch of usernames or address I deem it fine.
Originality is nice with proper planing and time since once again it was a rush job for me, plus your safe from copyright infringements.
I also got some cards from Moo when they were running their 50 free card promotion. Had to pay for the shipping but that wasn't bad.
The quality would have been better if I didn't use images from my flickr photostream. Should have uploaded photos in CYMK instead of RGB. Next batch will be better and have more photos to use, as this last batch had a lot of dollfie images ^^;;;
You can see them here http://www.ultima-i.com/2009/10/moo-cards/
No contact info on it as it was more for testing than anything.
Mine are here, a rush job but will work on a 'version 2' as this is temporary and I wish to make mine more original rather than copy pasting a background. [http://unlimitedotakuworks.wordpress.com/2009/11/20/name-cards]
I liked the bottom card in the first photo asit is a very 'welcoming' picture for when you hand your card to other people. Very original, love the vivid colours. Your pictures have inspired and given me ides for my next set of cards when I make them.
