Aki Sora revolves around Aki Aoi and Sora Aoi, a pair of close siblings who have shared an intimate bond since childhood. I know it depends on the culture, but personally I wouldn't consider yuri to be a 'taboo' alongside incest, and I find relationships in yuri series no less inherently normal or pure than heterosexual relationships. I enjoy BL and yuri not for the 'taboo' but because I'm not straight myself so those genres are easier to relate to than straight romance.
The idea of 'forbidden love' has always appealed to people, though. I guess for some it's a case of enjoying watching something they couldn't have in real life, or finding it interesting to watch the obstacles the characters face. A romance that goes smoothly with little drama can get boring after a while.
I find a few taboos interesting to read/watch too. It's not I want to experience it but it has more to do with the characters' experiences. Very interesting and it's a good break from the normal stuff we encounter everyday.
tha manga is good i've read it upto chap14 though on one of the chapter really left me blank for though it was about the... "cough" party "cough"
this post brought to mind the kind of "love" between the young girl and the movie idol in "Lost in Translation", they have the affection, but it doesn't need to be physical, you know like sharing . . . I'm just ecchi, but I likes ohter stuff too . . :O
Trap, Incest, and a bit of Yuri. These ingredients make this manga more interesting and fappable...
Better than KissXSis...thats for sure...haha but still i dont think incest is a bad thing, its just love...
Hmmm....not really my type of manga at all but it is rather interesting. Aside all the lascivious scenes, there are points in the story that are quite compelling. Such in Chapter 6 during the well, let's just say they bringing back styles of the ancient Greeks (^^;), Sora was confronted with the attitude that there is no meaning in copulatory encounters. He, on the other hand, is more old fashioned and feels every act - and with the person you're with - is important and should be regarded as truly intimate between individuals. However, they indulged nonetheless so it was rather hypocritical.
I probably wouldn't have read this if you didn't post those last two images about the mother getting hit by the car. That peaked my interest just out of sheer concern. Even though they're only characters, I still dislike situations when girls are put in danger (^^;) I guess I'm also old fashioned in wanting happy outcomes.
