My computer build...

mmm
After extensive research, I have found parts for my new computer. However, I'm a noob so can someone check if I have all my parts? Anybody got tips, guides, or how-tos to build a computer?
I'm paying like 1700 bucks on newegg.com , I'm not sure if that's a good idea. Also... I'm going to get 2 5770's

That is one heck of a build. I don't keep up with the performance parts as much as I used to, though the 920 is still the CPU I'd buy. As for price, you could probably get good deals if you space out the items and wait for things to go on sale. RAM prices have been going up the past several months, but will eventually have to come back down (I hope).
power supply is overkill the VX550 is enough or if you want some headroom a TX650. If you want to go CrossFire later then go for a T750 or TX850.
Where is your HD? In case you forgot.
The V8 is kinda excessive to if you're not going to overclock or you can get the Hyper 212 Plus with has better price/performance ration IMO.
That's about it.
I think he is gonna go crossfire. sez hes buying 2 5770s, not sure if thats still gonna be overkill tho since i havent tried it meself
Well 950 only makes sense for a quad crossfire setup but it won't bring much benefit over two physical chip crossfire. And 950W is simply overkill for two chip crossfire.
It won't hurt to get a large PSU 1st right? Expandability comes later!
In most cases, it won't but it's a waste to get one too big for what you plan to do IMO. There's a case when your load is too low and you will get lower than normal efficiency as you can see here http://www.corsair.com/products/tx950/TX950_efficiency_large.gif , they don't list load under 190W.
Hmm no Hard Disk Drive?
Anyway if possible , try upping the GPU to a HD 5850. Might as well since you are already moving up to Windows 7 as the HD 5850 is stated to be Direct X11 supportive.
You are missing a hdd for the OS system and a DVD drive to install the windows 7.
The mobo comes with instruction that does explain enough to put the comp together, but you can find the information on google too. Just take your time and double/triple check before your first boot up.
Pure Pwnage power on this rig.
The motherboard's Memory Standard is DDR3 2000, and the memory you chose is DDR3 1600. Don't know if that would cause any incompatibility issues since I've always matched memory standards. If anyone could clarify this for us, that'd be awesome!
Well I read a review and it said that it works fine at that speed. People usually overclock it to that speed. Maybe i will do the same.
