Figma Help
Sun 2009/12/20 11:27 JST

I need the help of the Danny community. Like many of you, I bought a Drossel figma. Like many of those who did, I'm having some trouble. Mine is pretty minor - the left shoulder joint is stuck. The left arm has almost complete range of motion, but I can't move it forward across her chest.
So the question is - what should I do to unstick the joint? Any suggestions appreciated.

Had a shoulder problem also with mine. People say to e-mail GSC support and they get back to you with a new arm, but when I kindly e-mailed them asking if they could help or give an alternate solution they never responded.

Good luck, hope they get back to you.
I think I'm going to try the "home remedies" listed below, keeping your advice as a backup.
Thanks!
np, mine had more of a big crack then just stuck =x
Actually it just stiff, mine got the same problem too. I push gently using my finger the shoulder joint from behind and then from bottom. Do not push from front side because it might damaging the joint.
I also hear if warm water can loosen up the joint.
push the shoulder joint, gently from behind.
Thanks, this will be my first option. Isn't the new commenting option cool? I love that you can show me exactly what you're talking about.
I had something like that with my Miku figma. Try heating up the joint with a hair dryer if you don't feel like dunking Drossel into water.
I prefer the water method, less of a chance you'd scorch the figure that way, methinks.
I think the hair dryer method works better, water did pretty much nothing when I tried it. It shouldn't melt your figure as long as you're not heating the thing up on the highest heat and speed possible either.
To each their own though.
Lube it.. WD-40 or KY Jelly.. take your pick. =P
Thanks, this will be option three - after massage therapy, warm water and hot air.
I had the same thing with the joints on my Drossel. I tool some warm water (heated slightly in the microwave) and dipped the joint in it. After about 10 seconds, I took it out to see if the joint was mobile. If not, I repeated the process.
After a short time, the joints started to move. :)
Thanks Ed, this will be option two. I'll report back with what (hopefully) worked.
Or do what they said >.>
