Air Battles Are Fun
Earlier in the week, a package arrived.
But I decided to open it on my birthday, which was on Saturday.
Asuka has arrived!
No, no. Not Asuka from Evangelion this time (You're missing my EVA posts yet?), but from Busou Shinki!
No idea what the community thinks about Shinki's here, but she's my first and I find her adorable and awesome at the same time.
Didn't imagine the box to be so.. so huge!
There's two layers of parts in that box + an instruction manual which I discovered after.. An hour of fiddling with her (I thought it had to do with the Shinki Game) and a code for said Shinki Game to use Asuka there or something.
Doubt I could play due the language barrier D:

Her armor is based on a german bomber plane I heard.
Pretty neat.
Some other interesting info:
She was designed by Fumikane Shimada from the Mecha Musume series, who also worked on Strike WItches iirc.

I attached the water/gas tank to her backpack.
Her sword can be attached there as well.

Could always remove the plane parts and turn her into some sort of Usagi Samurai Warrior.

I remember Asuka, probably the only Busou Shinki girl I would like to own.
Same here... ^_^ So far not other Busou Shinki girls come close to my attention...
Awesome. I'm more of a shinki fan then nendo and figma. The new releases are what I'm most looking forward to~

I love shinkis, but I haven't gotten any yet. Planning to get a couple soon though. Asuka's definitely near the top of the list, but I really want Arnval Tranche 1. Murmeltier and Zelnogrard are pretty awesome too!
