Posted by tsukinaridesu [www]

Just tiny updates btw...Last night, I tried to paint silver on the condenser panel, but failed badly, then I scratched and remove the paint and leave only the foil sticker, which is I put it long time ago before decided to paint this guy ^^;;

I use this paint - No. 033 Gaianote Primary Color Cyan,
the color is kinda like clear blue,
mixed with the thinner with paint:thinner ratio 1:3 as usual

I think the clear blue kinda work well with the red and white color scheme.. maybe its just my preference since I like both Red and Blue color ^^

    That's a very awesome color scheme. Is 1:3 paint to thinner the ideal ratio for all paint?

      I think so.. I just follow some of tutorial that I found on net, but sometimes I put 1 more thinner.. Usually I used 1:3 is good enough for painting, not sure If this is good, since I'm still beginner ^^;;

    Red and white kinda makes it look like a medic unit...
    Still, it looks great. Must see the finished product.

      I hand brush it, using small round paint brush ^^, I just tip it a bit and let it flow around ^^

    Whoa, I had a very similiar color scheme for the 00 :D I was thinking a bit of black in some places and instead of white, using silver. Looks pretty awesome ^^

    Not bad for a repaint. Red and White look good on the 00 Gundam. Good contrast, good weight in it's appearance. I'd personally use a dull Metallic Grey instead of Gun Metal for the joints, but that's just my opinion.

    You might want to use a knife to scrape off the excess red paint on the left shoulder; looks like it's run a bit.
