An arrival from Volks
I had a surprise arrival yesterday evening - the Dollfie I ordered from Volks a couple of months ago. I wasn't expecting him to turn up until January, so this was a pleasant early Christmas present.
He's a Super Dollfie 13, built through Volks' Full Choice System which allows you to pick from a wide range of different parts to have your ideal doll put together. It's not cheap by any means, but for me it was definitely worth it!
His name is Maya, which I know sounds very girly but he's based on an old original character of mine, and the name probably suits his face quite well anyway.

I had three arrivals at the same time yesterday - Figma Canaan along with two parcels from Volks.
Volks currently offers a Japanese-style outfit for FCS dolls, and it was so lovely that I couldn't resist.
I was really pleased with how Volks did the face-up. It was difficult trying to explain what I wanted when I ordered him because I'm far from fluent in Japanese, but I'm very happy with the results.

He is actually a boy, although it's hard to tell because of his wig and outfit, and male dolls frequently have feminine-looking faces. He's not actually cross dressing because the outfit is specifically for SD13 boys, and Volks do a separate one for the girls. I'll probably get him something less ambiguous for his next outfit, though.
