Blizzard
Merry Christmas!
It's been pretty bad here in South Dakota with a blizzard that has lasted the last couple days now. Since I had the night off from work I decided to sit around and play Xbox, but Kagamiku decided to go out and brave the elements and do some grocery shopping....
She's been out way too long -
- so I sent Kemeko out to search for her.
I'm not sure if you can tell from the photos too well, but the wind is positively howling outside.
And the slopes are rather difficult to negotiate, even for Kemeko!
All that's left of a smoker... I'm personally dreading the march to the gas station later >.>;

In the end, Kagamiku was recovered without incident, though she has a cold now >.<; I was thinking about scolding her, but I guess I can't blame her for trying so hard (even if it's just for one frozen leek TT_TT)
Ah... that takes me back.... back to the days when I lived in South Dakota, myself.
But this year, we all seem to be getting blizzard-blasted.
yeah, haven't left my apartment in a while now TT_TT, getting a little stir crazy...
Never seen snow like that.
Never seen a real one, to be exact.
I always think that snows are like ice blocks that's crushed into dust, but like in this photo, they look more like sugar than ice block dusts XD
I didn't know what to expect the very first time I saw snow.
Wow that's a lot of snow. Hope the blizzard lets up soon. Over here we've had exactly 20 cm of snow and that was a record ^^;
we had a heavy snow here in the Sierra Nevada about a week ago - some the snow is still here because its been cold during the day. didn't get the story until the last panel !! :P My oldest daughter has a friend in the Nederlans and he said driving was treacherous. be careful if you must go about.
p.s. I used the snow in my Yojimbo Usagi post a few days ago.
Nice post! I think snow is pretty fun to shoot in, though its a pain when its way too cold.

Looks like you got a white Christmas. Surprisingly here in the Chicagoland area we have a semi white/green Christmas. Most of the snow got washed away by the rain last night and early morning. XD
Have fun clearing out the snow around your car afterward! My place piled up to like 5 feet of snow after shoveling.
lol, i don't have a car (everywhere is within walking distance and I take a cab to the airport), just got back from a walk to the gas station and it took me almost an hour!
We had a lot of snow here, although most of it was washed away by the heavy rainfall we got yesterday.

We get no rain, instead we get a TON of snow and now the town is like Silent Hill @_@;

Found one at my local store for RM 140 but decided against getting her... ^^;
