Ion X Drossel
Went on a photoshoot with comrade Yuki-to at the heart of Singapore's shopping district, Orchard Road.
A new shopping mall called Ion was opened at the start of this week, and we went there to take pictures of pretty girls. And when I mean pretty girls, I refer to Drossel Juno Vierzehntens Heizregister Fürstin von Flüfel.
(I know everyone is probably sick of seeing Drossel pictures, but DROSSEL is simply AWESOME!! Get yours today!)
The interior is pretty much the usual that you see around every other shopping centers in Singapore.
The layout was a little confusing though, lots of escalators and lots of of circular sections. Some shops were not opened also, but that did not deter the Friday evening crowd.
Because it just opened at the beginning of the week, some lamps where not connected and their power cords left around.
Shana hates wire being carelessly left around so she decides to do some 'cleaning up'
The theme of the Ion center is supposed to be blue. You see blue lights everywhere. Quite pleasing to the eye if you ask me!
The food court is located at the basement level 4.
There were clay masks like these hung around the perimeter walls of the food court.
Guess who got eaten up?
At basement level 3, there is an Apple reseller called EpiCentre. Lots of Macs products on display.
Drossel decides to listen to some tunes but for some reason ojou-sama couldnt hear anything!
She then tries to play with the iMac on display.
The shop assistant then came and told us "NO PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED"
Apparently they are afraid that we were actually spies for Acer's design team. I blame Drossel's white finish. Knew she should have gone for the Aluminum finish.
Outside Ion, there were nice water lights.
I spent around an hour getting the correct shots. Squatting down, getting my camera wet, my shoes wet, my pants wet was tiring, but fun and looking at the picture, it's all worth it!
Sorry for the water droplets, couldnt be helped, I don't have a 90mm lens so I had to go reaaaally near the water!

Dammit, I still really wish I had watched those Fireball videos before the pre-orders were sold out.
After watching those, and looking at all the bombardment of Drossel figma pictures I regret no getting her. My hopes lie in the August re-release.
I am trying to get another Drossel for reasons that Drossel is damaged and turning yellow. August, do not fail us!

In regret mode as well... Apparently my local supplier cannot bring in Ojou to this continent because of lack of supplier's supplier from Japan.. X3
Yes, she's turning yellow than an apple undergoing oxidization !
I remembered using a certain item that was able to prevent my white items turning yellow. Will get back on that when i find it.

That's some really awesome photos as usual. I think Drossel is sold out everywhere so we can't get it even if we wanted one...
I guess she's pretty stable to stand on her own, thus you had no fear of her falling off the rail on the top floor of the mall. ^^
She is indeed really stable, but I still had my fears ^^

Drossel on the glass rail -isn't it fairly risky to do that? There's not much margin for error if she falls. Did you use tape?
Used much willpower and physics, no tape was used.
I had yuki-to at the side to catch her with his ninja skills if she were to fall ^^

I like the pics where Drossel is balanced in place. While I hope it never happens, I can imagine the slow motion sequence of her tipping over, and you trying to save her. "Noooooooooooo..."

But damn, stop taking these railing risks! One of these day's she'll fall and break/disappear!!
