Megami Vol 117 Feb 2010 Review

This week's issue focuses on Nanoha the Movie and as such was a magnet for my wallet. If you notice on the cover, you get a collectible card with young Fate on it. Sadly, it is not easy to remove the card from its pouch without an knife.

New Haruhi movie on the horizon. Bound to be seeing more of the gang in future issues I expect.

Same as the cover, except cute Nanoha is on a centerfold this time.

A lot of the shows are from this season and I just barely watched the new Mahoromatic episodes. Still trying to catch up.

Just been so busy lately. That's why you haven't seen a lot of me on Figure.fm now-a-days. That and my work has blocked it. ToT

So sadly, I just don't know where most of these girls are from. They are cute though and hopefully I will know them with time.

I still need to watch the sequel. I started with the first episode and it was censored causing me to drop it.

K-ON is still popular so it's no wonder they are back for another appearance. Looks as cold as it was earlier this week in Japan.

And here we are to the biggest sell of this issue. Nanoha and Fate in their movie appearance completely...well....revealed. ^,^

Young Fate - an angel of innocence.

This poster that comes with both Nanoha and Fate is double sided and VERY large. So much so that it was very difficult to take pictures of the poster without glare from lights showing up.

One more of Fate since, well, she is certainly a highlight of this magazine.

I think this issue is must have for Nanoha A's fans. The Japanese must have thought so too because they were almost sold out of these when I bought mine.

Also included in this issue is fanbook-style images of different expressions they have and outfits they wear in the new movie.
Nanoha is up first.

Something tells me that the new movie will be fanservice friendly. Even more then the original show perhaps?

Awe!! Look at the new outfits they gave Fate.

I think Fate is trying to push Nanoha out of my favorite character spot. >.<

Censorship. Boo.

Two of the images in this issue of Megami have girls with their "eyeballs" (DC slang) censored with steam. I don't like this and would prefer other, less obvious ways of being more modest for the under 18 crowd.

If I had her by my side this Christmas, I would be the luckiest man alive. Especially if she looked at me this way.

Rin Tosaka is my dream girl. Strange that I have the Dollfie Dream for Saber and not her. : /

Overall, a 4.5 out of 5 issue. But I am biased as a Nanoha/Fate/Tosaka fan. The issue comes with a large loli double sided poster for the movie, a bonus Fate card, and a bonus Nanoha comic. A must have for Nanoha A's fans and loli fans.
